Beep Beep Beep, My clock ripples with loud annoying sound waves to my eardrums. Beep Beep Beep,
"Shut Up!" I groan, I look through my brown black hair to my clock. I slam the snooze button and it finally stops. School today, I think to myself.
"Yay." I groan again. I stretch my arms wide and yawn as I do, my clothing is laying on the red velvet chair beside my bed. Jake must've put it there, I think grabbing them with a swipe. I throw my grey and blue shirt and black and white plaid skirt. Opening my door to the smell of burning bread and bacon and eggs, I walk into the wide open kitchen.
"Morning." Jake says with a nod. He flips an egg with his spatula.
"Morning." I say back as I turn back to go to the washroom. I grab the silver brush and start brushing my long, brown black hair. There isn't a lot of nots but still got to be brushed. I put back the brush in a bin and come back out into the kitchen. Jake has the eggs and bacon already on a plate for him and I. I get the toast an butter it quickly as Jake carries the food to the table. The utensils are there and also the ketchup.
"Wow you really wanted to make breakfast special." I say mockingly.
"Wow you don't realize what day it is?" He looks surprised. "It's your birth day, idiot."
"Yeah of coarse I know that!" I say, sitting down. Of coarse I didn't know that I never remember my birth day. I started eating, trying to eat fast so I won't be late for school.
After a couple of minutes I finish and start to clean up.
"Nope, leave it to me. Go get ready." He shoos me away from the table. I brush my teeth and start out the door.
"Have a great day, Echo. Happy birth day" He says.
"Thank you Jake, you too." I say and get on the bus at the corner.
As I climb into the bus, I swiftly dodge a spit ball that hits the driver, Mr. Joans, square in the back of the neck. He turns and yells at Jonathan Bear, the bully of our school. I take my seat, stepping over feet who try and trip me, at the back of the bus. At John Bailiff St, Michael saunters up the aisle to where I'm sitting.
"This seat taken?" He says with a smirk.
"Of coarse not. It never is." I say. I stare out the window on my left. Michael sits down next to me, his iPhone 6 in his hands.
After two stops we were finally at school. Michael and I head down the hall way were we usually part ways to our classes. I turned to say bye but he was already gone. I then noticed he had been swept through the halls by herds of students.
"I hate high school." I murmur to myself. I walk over to my dull grey locker (162) and put my bag in the bottom of it. I grab my needed history books and my pencil and eraser and walk to history class. On my way there I bump into somebody, spilling all my books everywhere and papers spread all over the ground, and, lucky me, I land straight on my bottom in the mix.
"Oh, are you okay?" Says the one who I bumped into, gathering my papers.
"Yeah I think so..." I say wincing, "I'm sorry I didn't mean..."
"It's fine," The person says.
Then I realize it's Collin
