Four days later,
"Hey PJ we still on for studying this afternoon." Caleb said as he caught up to her at the campus courtyard.
"Oh yeah of course." She said
"I tried texting you earlier to ask but you didn't answer." He said
"Oh I left my phone at home to charge. But I'll see you at 5." She said with a smile.
"See you then." He said then ran off.
Later on that afternoon, they studied for an hour and half. As they were gathering up their stuff she said "Hey Caleb, can I ask you something?"
"Sure." He said
"Would you like to go to dinner and a movie with me next weekend?" She said
"Like a date?" He said
"Yeah." She said
"PJ..no. Don't get me wrong you are cute but not my type. I'm sorry." He said and walked off.
Payton swallowed back the lump in her throat as she tried to blink away her tears. She left the library and went home. She went upstairs, and knocked on Bucky's door.
"Come in." He said
She opened the door to find him doing homework, "PJ..is something wrong?" He said
"I changed my mind about you helping me. So coach me.." she said
"What did he say?" Parker said as he stood at the door.
"You asked out Caleb?" Bucky said
"He basically said I was cute but not his type." She said
"I have a date see you all later." Parker said as he shook his head.
"We'll start tomorrow PJ we will make you his type." Bucky said
"Okay." She said and walked to her room.
