Eight months later
It was August again, the start of Bucky and Parker's senior year of college. Payton was leaving class when Lincoln Halston spotted her, he couldn't get over her beauty.
Later that day, he walked into the campus coffee shop to see her sitting alone doing homework. He ordered his coffee, and walked over to her.
"Is anyone sitting here?" He said
She looked up, "No, but you can. You are in my American Lit?" She said
"Yeah. I am Lincoln Halston." He said
"Payton Coleman, or PJ." She said with a smile.
"Your smile is beautiful." He said
A hint of blush rose up in her cheeks as she said "Thank you."
They talked for awhile,exchanged numbers and set up their first date. When she came home Bucky hopped up off the couch.
"Hey what are you doing Saturday? I need a bowling partner." He said
"I have a date..with Lincoln Halston." She said
"We know him, he just transferred over the summer." Parker said
Bucky just stood there staring blankly. "A date?" He finally said
"Yeah, we just spent the last 3 hours at the coffee shop getting to know each other." She said as she walked off.
"You alright man?" Parker said
Bucky swallowed hard, and said "Yeah man! I'll just won't go Saturday. I think its my grandma's birthday anyways." As he walked off to his room.
