It's a beautiful day

I wake up and get dressed. I put on a pair of shorts and a hoodie that says 'Hi, Gay' with rainbow letters, I know it's stupid but it's my humor, don't judge me. I put on a pair of socks and brush my hair (my hair is very, very short so it doesn't need much brushing).

"Good morning" I say while walking downstairs. Alice is sitting at the breakfast table waiting for the kettle. "Good morning, Tori" she says with a smile. I walk and sit next to her noticing that there's a lot of food on the table, mostly fruits and some slices of bread.

"Can you hand over the strawberries?" I ask Alice. She takes the bowl and pick out a strawberry and slowly putting it close to my mouth. "Open up" she says, laughing. I open my mouth, take a bite and start laughing. Right in that moment Freddie and Jim walked into the room. "Good morning girls" Jim says "Morning!" Alice and I say.

"Jim and I were thinking of going to a little place outside Kensington. It's very beautiful and not many people know of it. Do you guys want to come with us?" Freddie asks, taking a sip from his tea. "Yeah! Of course we want to" I blurt out, a little embarrassed on how loud I said it.

"Lovely, but first-" He cut himself off by starting to laugh "What on earth are you wearing?" He's blurts out, staring at my hoodie. "What about it? I'm just spreading joy and pride!" I say, making an hysterically move with my arms. He just continues laughing.

"Okay well if you don't want to get a hate crime I'd recommend changing" He says with a more serious voice now. "Oh... right. I forgot I'm in the 80s now... Well I don't have anything else to wear" I say. "You could pick out something from my wardrobe, but there's no girls clothes there"he points out. "That's actually more than fine, I hate 'girly' clothes, thank you!" I really do hate them, especially dresses, I only wear mens clothes, because it's just more comfortable.

I pick out a pair of blue jeans, a white tank top and a jeans jacket. I put on a few pins on the jacket to make it a little less boring.

We get in the car and start driving. Freddie turns to me "You know, to be a fan of me, you've been very calm. Am I really that boring in your time?" Freddie asks while looking at me. This made me very embarrassed for some reason and then very sad. I look out of my window and stare at all the people walking around. "Umm- I- I am a very big fan of yours, you have no idea. And believe me, it's not been easy trying not to run up screaming and hugging you." I say with a bit of regret in my voice. He smiles at me and then looks out of the window. I take out my phone and puts my airpods in, I start playing 'Everything I wanted' by Billie Eilish.

"What is that?" I take out my one of my airpods and I see that Freddie is pointing at my left ear. "What?" I say. "The white thing in your ear, dear! What is that?" he asks. "Oh you mean my airpods? Well it's like headphones, but smaller. You listen to music in them, do you want to try?" I asks while holding out one. He nods and takes it.

"Wow, this is really great! Who is this?" He asks looking at me. "This is Billie Eilish, she is a very big and well-known singer in my time. She's like 20 years old and-" I was cut off by Freddie. "20 years old?!" he blurts out. "Yes Freddie, 20 years old. She writes all of her songs with her brother". "What else have you got on there?" He asks pointing at my phone in my hand. "Well actually, I have everything. This thing has all the songs you could possibly think of. All of your songs and much more." I say looking at Freddie who seems to not believe me. "Well I better have one of those in your time, darling" He says with a sarcastic look.

"We're here" Terry says climbing out of the car to open Freddies door. Alice and I climb out of the car as well and we take a moment to look around. It's so beautiful... There's a few trees and a lot of flowers, a lake and a small jetty out to the water, on the other side of the lake there's only more trees and the sun makes everything look even more beautiful.

"Oh my..." Alice says with her jaw dropping down. "I know, I know..." Jim says walking up to us.

Alice and I are sitting on the end of the jetty while Jim and Freddie is behind us on the grass close to the bridge. "Well Tori, I never knew a trip back in time could be this beautiful. I mean thanks to me we're actually here" she says looking up to the sky. "Um excuse me? Thanks to me you mean?" I say looking at her with a grin on my face. "No, I mean without me, I was the one scaring you back at the lab!" "Yeah but I was the one who actually pressed the button" I say with a smile on my face. "Fine, it can all be your fault we're here.." She says sighing sarcastically. "Um hang on, that's not fair!" I say pushing her on the side of her arm. "What? You said it yourself, you're the one who brought us here!" she says, looking at me while laughing. I push her so she's laying with her back on the bridge and starts to attack her. "Toriiii! Stop it, that tickles!" she screams out, trying to dodge my hands.

"Lovebirds, lets go now!" Jim yells from a distance. My face turns scarlet and I quickly stand up. On our way home Alice sits in the front and I right behind her in the back with Freddie and Jim. I put my airpods and and start plying 'It's a beautiful day' by Queen.
