Stars and scars are a strange thing.
They remind you of the beauty in life, the wonder that exists behind everything else. And yet, they also remind you of your past pain. The pain of broken promises; the pain of betrayal. The pain of not having loved enough or been loved enough. The stars and scars are strange things but they can make you feel like a piece of something bigger than yourself. They can make you feel beautiful, even if there is only so much you deserve to feel. But then again, maybe that's what makes them beautiful.
