Usually every weekend there would be the trip to the psychiatric ward, where Eri could see her friends, Michalis, Stefania, Chanel and Selea, who all had similar lives to her, just sort of different. They’d usually joke about their past trauma, make threats to one another and talk about the latest gossip and people they had a crush on, which was the highlight of Eri’s visits. Unfortunately, Selea was the supposed ‘worst there’ after Eri left due to them both helping each other when they wanted to relapse or cause harm on themselves or others, and Selea couldn’t cope any more, so she’d release her anger onto the staff there, or if Eri was around, herself. They had to keep Selea in a separate area from everyone else, but she slowly coped. It was hard for Eri to leave her friends behind, because they knew they couldn't get better even if their life depended on it.
A few months later Eri went back to the ward, for Selea's birthday, carrying gifts that knew would be acceptable for her. She went, but found out she wasn't there no longer, she was in a different country, a different 'institute' to 'help' Selea, and now, she was over 6 hours away.
