I remember when you told me,

"Our love will never die"

We were too young, too naive

And way too blind to see

And here I am,

Crying on the floor,

Clueless as to why I gave it up

And I know the answer,

Just can't bring myself to think it through enough

I can't believe I ever trusted you,

You told the world what I did for you,

As I watched you, helpless

I didn't know what I did wrong,

The only guilty one here being you

You looked into my eyes,

And you told me I was safe

You looked into my eyes,

And lied right to my face

I loved you,

And I thought that you loved me too

But I guess I thought wrong
