Books were Juliette's life, it was the only thing that could help her past the time. She loved to read about adventures and fantasy but most of all she loved love stories.
She yearned to find the one, her mate. She just wanted to experience the thing that people wrote about so beautifully.
She was currently reading The Notebook, she had read it before. She found the book at the local bookstore a couple years ago when she moved back to Forks.
"Jules? Are you listening!?" Alice asked the redhead as they all sat at lunch.
"Nope." She simply said without looking up from her book. After finishing the page she looked up to see the whole table staring at her. She sighed and closed her book.
"So, it's Bella's birthday is tomorrow and I was planning to throw a party!" Alice squealed happily. Juliette nodded as she tried to move her hand to her book unnoticed. A hand clamped around the book and she looked to see Edward holding it. She sighed and rolled her eyes at Edward. She leant her head on her hand and looked out the window at the rainy scenery of Forks.
"Juliette?" A voice said as she turned her focus back to the people in front of her, "Are you going to the party tomorrow?" Jasper asked as he grasped Alice's hand.
"Yea of course, I love Bella." She smiled while nodding, she looked at Edward and then at her book with pleading eyes. He laughed slightly and shook his head which made her flip him off.
"Can I braid your hair, Jules?" Rosalie asked with a small smile, Juliette nodded and turned her chair so that it was right in front of Rosalie. Rosalie loved Juliette's long wavy red locks of hair, she constantly asked to braid it and Juliette never declined.
"So Wilkinson, what are you getting our old lady for her birthday?" Emmett asked jokingly while leaning back in his chair. Edward rolled his eyes at the comment. Juliette smirked and looked at Edward with a mischievous look.
"I think Edward knows." She smirked as she leaned onto the table. Edward was frowning in disappointment at Juliette's immaturity.
"Sometimes I wonder how you're so immature for being 284." Edward bitterly spoke which made Juliette roll her eyes at the stupid vampire.
"I'm not immature, I just choose to live a little." Juliette explained while crossing her arms. He scoffed at her reply. By now Rosalie was done and had braided a nice plait with Juliette's gorgeous red hair.
"You're not alive!" Edward whisper yelled as he got up. He was halfway through the cafeteria when he heard,
"You still have my book!"
He turned clearly annoyed and chucked it at Juliette. She was unamused with this action and caught the book right in front of her face with no change in emotion. He turned around and walked out the doors of the cafeteria.
"Why does he always have to make a scene? He's so fucking dramatic." She muttered as she looked at Rosalie, she had a amused look on her face from her best friend's rambling.
"Don't worry about him, Jules. He's all upset and dramatic because Bella keeps on bothering him about him turning her." Rosalie told her she cuddled up with her husband.

Juliette was apart of the Cullen clan but she always had this nagging feeling like she didn't belong. Like she was the puzzle piece that didn't fit into the puzzle.
