As winter and sunshine got closer they started to open up to each other about their childhood and personal experiences.
through this sunshine found out that Winter had been physically and mentally abused by her mother and her dad wasn't present in her life. as a result of this winter was now in the foster care system. and as for sunshine her dad worked in the military and was away for most of her life and her mum wasn't present either so her babysitter's were her parents. they related to each other because they both had unstable lifestyles and this was the first friendship either of them had had.
