I was enrolled into hawkins high as a senior, I stay away from people except for nancy, mike, steve and jonathan. I never wanted to get close to anyone so I keep my distance from everyone only talking to people when needed, most people ignored my presence except for the wheelers, steve and jonathan i met both jonathan and steve through nancy.

Nancy and I are pretty close but also pretty different, she always tries getting me to come to parties and i prefer staying home.

Mike constantly tried getting me to join the hellfire club and get more friends but i never did, I dont need any more friends im happy with who i have.

Jonathan and I are the ones that pick up nancy and steve when they're to drunk to drive home. And sure i get high but if i know theres a party I avoid it until after nancy and steve are both home.

For the first few months of school i never had to deal with new people. I skipped lunch and stayed quiet in class. My first class is science and I worked with nancy for the project.

"I say we work on it tonight at home," She said and I nodded in agreement. We just talked about what we planned on doing for the project then the bell rang and we went to second period, I had english class which went by pretty slow. Finally the bell rang again and I went to math class, we had a test which was pretty easy, well for me atleast.

Steve kept asking for help and got in trouble for being noisy and obnoxious. I turned in my test and then waited for the bell to ring. When it did we had lunch and I was talking to nancy, steve and jonathan the whole time.

"Why didnt you help me on the test y/n?" steve said and i couldn't tell if he was being serious or not.

"I wanted to but the teachers a bitch and would've gotten mad at me if I did," I said rolling my eyes. The rest of the day went by pretty quick and before last period dustin and mike came asking for me to sub in for lucas at hellfire club , I decided to go.

I know how to play dnd but i never really did play, it was mostly when mike and his friends would ask me to sub in for someone which happened around once or twice a month before they joined the hellfire club and now I was subbing for lucas, they brought me to where they where playing and introduced me to the other club members, eddie, jeff, erica, and gareth.

Erica was sassy but pretty chill, I didnt pay much attention to gareth or jeff, mostly just mike and eddie (only because he was the dunger master). Eddie was loud and energetic and a little bit childish.

We got down to the last plays and and everyone but dustin and erica where dead so it was up to them if they wanted to keep playing or surrender, erica automatically said keep playing as we all agreed to fight to the death at the beginning.

"While you guys finish i'm gonna go the bathroom" I said before starting to walk out.

"You cant miss the end of the game y/n" I heard mike say from behind me. I turned around to face him.

"Yea it'll only take a few minutes just stay and go after," dustin spoke in agreement with mike.

"Let them go, we can tell them how it goes after," I heard eddie say. I walked out before anyone could say anything else, walking kinda fast to the closest exit before stepping out and walking into the forest before teleporting myself to a table in the middle of the place.

I really just needed a break from everyone and I was stressed with school and I knew I wouldn't have to pick anyone up after a party so I decided getting kinda high wouldn't be a problem, I ended getting higher than i thought and ended up going back the school with bloodshot eyes. I kept my head down while waiting outside for everyone to come out. i heard the door open and looked up slightly to see everyone being extremely happy.

"Im assuming it went well," I said while getting up.

"Erica rolled a 20 and beat vecna," Dustin and mike said at the same time excitedly. Luckily they didn't notice my eyes being bloodshot but someone else did. I decided to wait by the school until everyone left so there was a lower chance of people noticing but what i didn't realize is eddie standing near me.

"I thought you left to use the bathroom," He spoke up which kinda startled me.

"I did, I just decided to wait out here instead of going back to the room," I said kinda quietly. Eddie sat down next to me before talking again.

"im not stupid wheeler," He said looking at me i looked up slightly to see him. i looked away and staed quiet "you're high as hell right now and i can tell," he said before looking down.

"I am not," I said slightly annoyed. "And even if i was it would be none of your business, you don't even know me," I said defensively and kinda fast.

"You left to get high and now you're gonna drive home?" he questioned.

"I already told you im not high and yes im driving home, now I would prefer if you left me alone. i dont like people." i said while getting up.

"You smell like weed and you look high," he said getting up after me.

"Okay so I am high. Whats it to you?" I asked slightly pissed off.

"It's nothing to me I just dont get why Iyou left when you couldve waited, but it's your life so do whatever i guess."

"Why are you even talking to me?"

"You're reserved and quiet plus you're mikes sibling and hes mentioned you and I wanted to meet you myself, he said you liked dnd so I was wondering if you would like to join hellfire."

"I just dont like talking to people, I think it's stupid to talk to people, be their friend then stop talking to them two weeks later, im reserved because I dont like people knowing about me and I would prefer to stay that way."

"Well now you know me and im not going to leave you alone."

"Whatever eddie 'the freak' munson. And fine i'll join only because im tired of mike asking and now you're asking" I walked away before he said anything else and got into my car and drove home. i got home and started walking to my bedroom

"You're home late," mrs.wheeler said while looking at me. She didnt sound mad just slightly worried

"I was talking to someone, and i was subbing for lucas at hellfire." I said walking the rest of the way to my room, I looked around at everything in here, posters and decorations covered my walls and my guitar was up against my wall. I grabbed it before sitting on my bed and playing for a few minutes, when I was done I put it back and worked on school stuff. I had a science test in a few days and didnt want to fail. I eventually put my stuff away and then changed into an oversized hoodie and some shorts.
