(Sorry this chapter took so long to get out. The day I was planning on editing it out my allergies got the better of me)

"Five blue, three green, ten yellow..."

Gift wrapped boxes sat on the kitchen table in groups.

[Y/n] leaned against the table with a notebook in one hand and the other holding a warm cup of tea. It's white porcelain painted with  gold stars and dots.

"Your mugs on the table." [Y/n] sipped from their cup as they watched Edo walk in. Luc trailing him in an old bath robe and a dirty traffic. An odd choice in fashion of you asked them. Maybe it was a human thing.

"Remember me? Luc?" Luc questioned, trailing after Edo with a concerned look. "We freed the oppressed and defeated the evil warden together? Yesterday?"

"Kid, lay off the details." An exhausted Edo groaned, grabbing his mug that was filled with apple blood. "I haven't even had my cup of apple blood yet."

"You mean apple juice?" Luc asked, confused.

"No." Edo answered, slurping from his mug as he sat on the table beside the younger witch. Queen sat in a high chair close by. Stabbing at her plate of moving noodles with eyes. "Got business today?"

"Tons." [Y/n] answered, with a yawn. "I was up half the night working on carving candles into needed shapes."

"Teach me some spells." Luc ordered, popping up between the witches. "When do I get a magic staff? Was I supposed to bring my own runes?" He then gasped. "Do you have a dangerous magical quest for me?" He asked, shaking Edo's arm.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down, kid." Edo ordered, not wanting to spill his drink. "Being a witch doesn't happen overnight."

[Y/n] cringed as a piece of dirt fell from the traffic cone, "I wasn't gonna ask but why are you wrapped in a bathrobe and wearing a traffic cone?"

"Huh?" Luc took off the 'hat' blowing the dirt off of it to reveal it was in fact a traffic cone. This earned a laugh from Queen and her pile of pasta.

"But a magic staff, huh? You really want one?" He questioned, giving the human boy a smirk.

"More then anything." Luc stated, squishing his cheeks together.

Edo wiped his mouth with his sleeve, before sticking his hand out. "Magic staff, come to me!" He ordered. The sound of clashing and clattering could be heard from the other room as everyone turned to the doorway in expectation. Finally, the wooden staff came flying into the kitchen whacking [Y/n] in the side of the head. Sending them to the ground. "Oops."
