~𝒮𝓀𝒾𝓅𝓅𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝟣𝟢𝟣 𝒫𝒶𝓇𝓉 𝟣~

"Gothic lover incoming." A green haired boy called out from the ground. His hair in a low ponytail. His eyes a soft golden color with a beauty mark beneath his left eye. A girl, a carbon copy, beside him.

"Don't you start, Emerald." [Y/n] demanded, waving a hand at the boy as they landed on the ground. Their staff shrinking and allowing the squirrel to scamper into their cloak. They let out a sigh, "My whole break yesterday was a complete nightmare."

"Chased by the guards?" The boy, Emerald, guessed.

"I wish. I nearly got my body snatched by a giant octopus during a false quest." [Y/n] shivered. "I spent the whole night scrubbing my skin and clothes of the swamp funk." They looked to the girl. "Please tell me you have a plan to get me out of working, Edra."

"Well, don't you fret anymore." Edra wrapped her arm around [Y/n]'s shoulder. "Cause we're taking a skip day." She held up a paper bag. "I brought apple blood and snacks."

"And I brought entertainment." Emerald held up a crystal ball with a smile. "We can crash in one of the empty classrooms."

"I'm down." [Y/n] stretched their tired muscles. "Lets hurry it up, before anyone sees me." The screech of the PA caused everyone in the halls to wince at the screech.

"[Y/n] Clawthorne go to Oracle classroom immediately!"

"Me and my big mouth." [Y/n] grumbled.

"Cheer up." Edra nudged them. "We still got lunch to make our getaway. Just try not to get dragged away to the astral plains again."

"No promises."

[Y/n] could only stare at the sight before them.

Students screamed as a spirit raged throughout the classroom. Crashing into items and shooting violet balls of fire towards them. Luckily, they had their desks to shield them from the immediate danger.

"It's not even seven, yet." They groaned, watching as a fireball was shot through the window.

"Oh thank goodness your here!" The teacher cried, ducking behind the teen. "One of the students attempted to summon a spirit for their homework and did this! Please help!"

"Please stop yelling." [Y/n] demanded, messaging their temple. "I already have a headache."

The spirit screeched before throwing itself at [Y/n]. Claws extended and jaw completely unhinged. [Y/n] pulled out the eye like pendant causing a swirl of violet magic to burst from it. Swirling around the screeching spirit before pulling it into the pendant. It shined once more before stopping.
