Reader: she/her pronouns, normal human, reader is a good fighter but no where near as good as Macaque.
Plot: Macaque starts to act a little more over protective of reader, reader trys to brake it off, things don't always go as planned though ------------------------------------------------------------
-second POV-
you sighs as you finishes cleaning up after dinner, the last week had been odd to say the least, Macaque had been very close the past couple of weeks and more clingy as well and it was becoming a little to much for your comfort, yeah you enjoy hugs and being around Macaque but this was too much, every second he was there giving you a hug or a kiss or just out right picking you up and taking you away from your task! so tonight you had planned to confront him about this and see if you could get some of your space back but sadly that hadn't gone as planned, you had made both your favourite dinner and even wore your nicest outfit, after you both ate you sat down and talked about the problem, whish turned into an argument, which lead to Macaque storming off and now you are alone, after tonight you think perhaps you and Macaque need a brake from each other, take some time to get your own thoughts and figure some things out, with that in mind you pack up a bag of niceties and write up a note for Macaque before heading out to go to one of your friends homes for the night just to get some time to think before you have this important talk with Macaque.
it had been a week and a half after that night and Macaque had not taken it well, he didn't see the note and thought you had been taken and had scared your friend when he came busting down their door looking for you, it only got worse from there, macaque would follow you everywhere and growl or glair at anyone who would try and get close to you, it got so bad that he had gotten you band from a few places and even chased off some of your friends! you finally had enough! you were going to brake up with him tonight!
you set the table and made sure everything was ready, you had already packed up and move your stuff out of the house and were ready to leave at the drop of a hat so now all you had to do was tell him it was over and leave, Macaque came home to see you in your normal attire and dinner ready at the table "hey Lotus, what's for dinner?" Macaque asks as he sits down "stir-fry and plum pie for dessert" you say as you sit down with him "looks good" Macaque hums, the two of you eat in comfortable silence and once food was finished you let out a sigh "Macaque we need to talk" you say and watch as Macaque sits up straight "about?" he asks "about us" you say, Macaque nods looking you all over for any clue as to what you were going to say next "we need to brake up" you say with a solemn look "what! why?" Macaque asks standing up "because you have been to clingy and overprotective Macaque, i've lost friends because of you, i'm band from places because of you!" you explain standing up yourself "you can't mean that!" Macaque growls "i do, i'm sorry but it's over Macaque, goodbye" you sigh before leaving a shocked Macaque behind as you leave the house.
a month, that's all you got, a month away from him before he found you and dragged you back, a month before your freedom had been taken away, now you sit in the house you once owned with macaque locked away from anyone who could come to help you, now here you are sat with Macaque cuddled right up to you forever trapped as his.

so... it's been a while, sorry this oneshot is so short i uh sadly have been well occupied by some IRL problems and well i've not been well to say the least, currently i'm getting well messed around by stuff and it's been making it harder and harder to get some free time to write and not only that but due to stress i've been getting more and more burnt out from IRL problems that i haven't even gotten time to just chill so the book is on hiatus at the moment, i'll still be doing the request i've already gotten but i'm not going to be taking any requests at the moment, so sorry, i'll see you when i next get to freely update but till then have a good day!
