Luna's POVWhoa. I'm alive? Wow. Those men saved me. They actually saved me. I thought I was a goner for a second. Especially since I was so far in the Sea. But they saved me. And they took me out of my wooden box. Which I was happy about. Because that box wasn't comfortable at all. No Siri. But at least I'm warm now. One of those men had wrapped one of their jackets around me. And I'm so warm now. My dream has finally come true. Someone has saved me. I'm not cold anymore. But I'm still wet and hungry. But I'm sure they'll take me out of these wet clothes soon. I hope. They seem like nice people. So they must not be like mommy and daddy. They seem really caring. They hold me so gently. And I find it very comforting. They speak with soft and soothing voices. Which was nice.
But now, we were going somewhere. I don't know where yet. But they said they had a friend that would help me. I wonder who it was.
We were now entering a weird place. It had so many rocks. It looked so cool! And surprisingly the place felt warm. It was nice. I sighed against the mans chest, that was holding me. He had long yellow hair. It wasn't the one with the cool curly hair. But I also thought this man had cool hair too.
"Your safe now kiddo, your safe now", the man whispered to me. And for some reason. I believe him. I don't know why. But I do.
It didn't take long, a new voice echoed the room that we were in. "David? What did you need? You called but you didn't tell me what it was about", I heard another man's voice. Hmmm. "Max, we kinda have a situation on our hands", the man with the white hair said. Is that what his name was? David? Hmmm. I like that. Nice name. They continued to talk. But I couldn't hear what they were saying. I was too busy playing with the yellow hair the man had. It was so soft. I giggled when he let out a giggle. He was really nice. I like him. "Having fun there sweetheart?", he asked me. I gurgled happily. Yes I was actually. He wasn't like daddy. He wasn't mean like daddy. I liked him. I nearly jumped when I felt his hand gently run over my hair. Wow. That felt good. I gently sighed. Really nice.
"Dear god, she's just a babe. You said you found her in the sea, in a badly made wooden box?", the new man said. "Yes, we were lucky that the box hadn't submerged the minute the box hit the water. But she was already freezing at the touch and her clothes were already soaked", David told the new man. "Hmmm, well I should've been more suspicious when you asked me to bring over some baby clothes. At first I thought something entirely different but I see that I was wrong", the man named max said.
"Thank you", David said to max. Does that mean I get to get out of these wet clothes? The thought made me happy. I really didn't like being in these wet clothes. "I will ask, I know your no doctor but you've been around, can you give her a quick checkup, just in case she was hurt before we found her?", David asked max. I was confused now. Why did I need this check up? What does it mean? I whined and whimpered. "Shh, darling. It's okay. He won't hurt you, your safe here", the same man that was holding me said. And again, I couldn't help but believe him.
I slowly calmed down. And soon enough, the new man, max walked over to us. At first I was a bit hesitant, because I didn't know this man. Well, I didn't know any of them. But they seemed nicer then my mommy and daddy. So I at least have to give them a chance, right? Right. "Is it okay if I take her? Just so I can do a quick checkup", max asked the man that was holding me. It took the man a minute to say anything. "Okay", he finally said after awhile.
I was handed off to max. I was now face to face with a man with weird looking things over his eyes. What were those? Hmmm. Weird. But he just smiled at me. I gurgled at the weird man. He didn't seem too bad. "Hello little one, my name is max. I'm just gonna give you a quick checkup, just to see if you have anything that's hurting", he told me in a soothing voice. Hmmm. That doesn't sound too bad. No one's ever given me a checkup before. But it couldn't be that bad, right? It doesn't sound like he was gonna hurt me. And that man that was holding me before told me he wasn't gonna hurt me.
