As a child, Violet Larouse was the troublemaker, the one who could never do anything right. This shaped her to be the rebellious woman she became. As the daughter of Marquis Henri Larouse, she was one of the most talked about for her rebellious ways. Her twin though was perfection in the eyes of her parents. It made her resent the freedom he had. The freedom that would only ever be given to males.
For 15 years, she did try to be what they wanted, but staying locked away caused her rebellion even more. It caused her to roam out after dark, to meet him. A pirate, a fantastical person that she had always been told would only bring cruelty to her. Only the truth wasn't like the stories.

The characters within the story (not the historical persons) are creations of mine and any resemblance to real people are not intentional. Truly, I know very few people in real life.
Because the time period is different than modern time, there will be some uncomfortable/triggering aspects of this story, such as the marriageable ages being as young as 12 for females and age gaps between husbands and wives. This is also meant to be a pirate story, so while there is romance involved, there will be fighting, and pirate nature involved in this story. If that is not something that you are comfortable with, this may not be the story for you.
I do not allow any use of my creations without my permission. If you wish to make a spin off for your favorite character or a fanfiction, I would like to be contacted before you publish it for public consumption.
