"Her results from the last test seem to suggest she is ready for the next phase," said a male voice. I can faintly hear the sounds of papers being passed around and light murmurs surrounding me.

"Yes these results are far better than any the other tests we've completed," said a older husky voice.

There was some silence before a more feminine voice spoke up, "I agree, I believe these results can lead to further trials but we have other things to consider."

"What did you have in mind?" Said that same male voice.

"She can't be sent back to her old civilization it would completely modify the end results. I believe we must adjust some things to ensure the pure effectiveness of the trials." the woman explained.

"What are you implying Dr. Rubin?" asked the male voice.

"If we took the chance of placing her back into her division it will definitely raise questions and possibly trigger the wrong responses in the trails." she explained.

"I was completely unaware of these plans in the initial layout of what we where doing here my intention were not to rip the child from her family longer than what was intended," the husky voice from earlier hesitantly spoke up.

"You are convienently aware of the contract that you signed and the agreements that were set forth Felix, all of you were. Do not see to it as a mistake on our part that you are not informed of every single factor in our operation. That was solely your responsibility," the woman sharply stated.

When no one spoke she continued, "we must think of all the effort put into this and we have to make these decisions for the sake of the cause. So if there are any objections to any further actions please speak now." The room was followed by silence.

"Good let phase two begin," she excitedly announced.

I slowly find myself coming back to consciousness. I could feel the hard surface beneath me and the heat from the sun beating down on me. I can hear the soft melodies coming from the birds in the trees and the whistle of the wind whipping across my face.

I found it hard to get my eyes open, it felt like I've been sleeping for years and I'm finally getting the chance to see the light of day. I eventually got them open to clearly see my surroundings. It took me a while to get them to adjust but when they did I slowly looked around. I was laying directly in the center of a dirt field surrounded by a endless number of trees. I was wearing this all white oversized jumpsuit with the numbers 1738 stitched over my left breast.

I began to sit up and was immediately aware of the sharp pain on my left arm. as I reach back to soothe the pain I notice a weird lump on my forearm and the blueish green light surging through my arm under my skin. strangely I wasn't frightened by the discovery. I also didn't miss this weird energy I felt running though my body. I almost made me feel calm and at peace. It wasn't until then that I realized the situation I was in.

I cautiously sat up and took in everything around me. There was nothing I could see for miles but trees. Where am I? I thought to myself. Even more strange I couldn't remember anything that could have possibly gotten me here. It seemed as if most of my memory was clouded and no matter how hard I tried to clear my thoughts I just couldn't form anything that could give me information. I tried to remember what land I was on, what division I belonged to, what compound I was in, yet nothing came to me.

The only possible thing I could remember was that my name was Dane Portan. I could feel my body coursing with this unknown energy that slowly was building up my strength and was makinging me highly alert. It was strange and I was curious as to why I was feeling like this but sadly that wouldnt get me out of this situation and I began to worry. I start to think What's wrong with me? Why can't I remember anything? Where is this energy coming from?
