The game of jealousy

The next week Priya and Ram were off to Maldives.They checked into a hotel and spent that night in the room as they were very tired.

Priya:Woah..I am very tired..Chalo so jaate hai phir kal hum bohot time spend kar sakte hai.

Ram and Priya slept well that night and awoke early the next morning to explore the Maldives. As they exited the hotel and made their way to the beach, they heard a voice exclaim, "Ram..." A girl approached and hugged Ram as they turned around. Both Ram and Priya were stunned. Priya heard Ram call out the girl's name in a matter of seconds.

Ram:Vedika,tum yaha?

Vedika:Yes Ram..I know tum mujhe bohot miss karte honge na..I still love you..Maine uss Shashi ko chod diya.

Priya:Ram ,ye sab kya hai.

Ram:Priya ye meri ex-girlfriend hai Vedika.

Vedika:Ram,ye kaun hai?

Ram:Ye meri wife hai.Priya Ram Kapoor.

Vedika:What?Ram tumne shaadi ki aur mujhe iske baare mein bataya tak nahi?

Ram:Main tumhe kyun bataon?Tum ho kaun meri life mein?Tumne paison ke liye mujhe chod diya...and now jab mere paas paise hai ,tab tum vapas aa rahi ho.How shameless.

Vedika:Ram just give me one chance to explain.

Ram:Fine Explain...

Vedika:Main privacy chahti hoon.

Ram:Jo bhi kehna hai Priya ke saamne kaho.She is my wife and has the right to know everything.

Vedika:Please Ram..bas 2 minute.

Ram agreed and Vedika took him aside and spoke something to him. Priya tried but failed to hear their talk. Ram reappeared two minutes later, beaming. Priya was taken aback a little. Vedika insisted on accompanying Ram and Priya as they prepared to proceed. Priya was irritated by this. Ram, on the other hand, denied Vedika's offer, stating that he needed to spend time with his wife. Priya was pleased.

Later when they were alone ,Priya questioned Ram.

Priya:Ram,tumne mujhe apni ex ke baare mein kyun nahi bataya?

Ram:Vo mere life mein koi mayne nahi rakti isliye maine nahi bataya.

Priya:But we promised we will share all incidents of life.Maine bhi tumhe bataya tha na that I had a crush on my collegiate Krish.Toh tum kyun nahi bata paaye that you and Vedika were in a relationship?

Ram:Priya relax..You know I only love you.Main tumhaare alava kisi aur se pyaar kar hi nahi sakta.And Vedika is just my friends now.Bechari ..uski abhi abhi divorce huyi hai.

Despite Ram's assurances that Vedika was not all awful, Priya had her doubts. Vedika was present as they sat for dinner in the hotel that night. She begged Ram to let her sit with them because she was alone. Ram permitted Vedika to sit with them despite Priya's constant warnings. Vedika approached Ram and requested if he would dance with her while music was playing. Ram initially rejected, but after much persuasion from Vedika, he agreed to accompany her. Priya was outraged with contempt.

As Priya was fuming, someone tapped her on the shoulder.She was suprised to see a handsome guy.

Man:Hi beautiful, I am Naman.Are you an Indian?

Priya:Yes...

Naman:May I dance with you?

Meanwhile Ram's gazes fell on Priya and Naman.

Ram(thinking):Who the hell is this guy and how dare he talk to Priya.

When Ram saw Priya dancing with that guy, he was taken aback. Vedika decided to take a chance after assessing the circumstances.

Vedika:Dekho Ram tumhaari Priya uss ladke ke saath kitni khush hai.Aur tumhe chinta ho raha tha ki kahin vo bore na ho jaaye..

Ram jerked Vedika's hand and walked towards Priya who was dancing with Naman.

Priya:So Naman..how come you are in Maldives?

Naman:I had some business meeting here toh mujhe aana pada.What abt you?And your name?

Ram interrupted them.

Ram:Priya..

Naman:Ahh toh aapka naam Priya hai.

Priya smiled at him and then looked at Ram.

Ram:Lets go Priya.

Priya:Par..

Before Priya could say anything else,Ram took her to their room.He locked the door.

Priya:Ye tumne kya kiya?

Ram:What do you mean?

Priya:Tumne mujhe Naman se baat karne hi nahi diya.

Ram:Tum aisa kaise kar sakte ho?

Priya:Maine kya kiya?

Ram:Tum usse jaante tak nahi aur tum uske saath dance kar rahi thi.

Priya:Aaahaa ye baat tumhe tab sochna chahiye tha jab tum apni Vedu ke saath dance kar rahe thei.

Ram:Vedika is my friend..

Priya:Toh Naman bhi mera dost hai.

Ram:Stop it..Priya..I can't bear it.Ab mujhe pata chala.Tum mere aur Vedika ki dosti se insecure ho..Ok I promise main uske paas nahi jaunga.But pls mere saath aisa mat karna.You know I only love you..Main tumhe kisi aur ke saath nahi dekh sakta.

Priya:Same way main bhi tumhe kisi aur ke saath nahi dekh sakti.

They cleared their misunderstandings and then went off to sleep.
