"What's your favorite thing about me?"
Byulyi, who had otherwise been focusing on the work on her computer, turned her head at the sudden question. "Huh?"
"I asked what your favorite thing about me is," Jin simply repeated, looking at her from their shared bed. The woman's confusion grew stronger as the rain kept hitting the big windows. She wondered why he was asking this all of a sudden, not even in context of anything.
"Why are you asking this?" She gave in to the confusion and looked at him with a grin smeared out on her face.
"Because I'm curious," Jin stated as he sat upright in the bed, his eyes bigger than usual. The dim-lit room was peacefully isolated from the outside world and nothing was able to disturb them. "What is the singlest biggest reason you're with me?"
Byulyi, still puzzled as to her boyfriend's intentions, faced her work once again. She clicked through different files and demos while humming thoughtfully. "Can we talk about this when I'm finished?" In the reflection of her screen, she noticed the pout creeping onto Jin's lips, and she bit down on her bottom lip to prevent a smile from creeping onto hers.
"But you've been working all week! Will you ever be finished?" he asked, followed by a dramatic sigh as he got up on his two feet and waddled his way over to her desk, hugging her much smaller figure from behind.
The sound of thunder from outside startled the woman and she jumped slightly in her chair, making Jin laugh.
"You're too precious," he chuckled, planting a light kiss on her cheek and continuing his clingy behavior. She laughed slightly as well and placed a hand on his arm, softly running her fingers over the material of his sweater.
"It sounds weird when you say it like that," she noted while still not moving her eyes away from the computer.
"What? That you're precious?"
"Mh-hmm.." she absently replied while making a few clips and moving some files to another folder - only using her right hand as the left was still occupied, stroking her boyfriend's arm in soothing patterns.
"Hm.." Jin kissed the top of her head, then resting his cheek on it and averting his gaze to the wet windows where the droplets quickly made their way down the glass. "I might not stop though, 'cause you are quite precious." He smiled to himself while enjoying her small, loving caresses.
"If you say so." He wasn't sure if she was actually listening to his words. Whenever Byulyi was concentrating on her work, he would have to work hard if he wanted her attention.
"So, when will you be finished?" He impatiently repeated his previous question while rubbing his cheek against her hair, much like a little kid craving recognition.
"Hmm, half an hour," Byulyi replied, grabbing onto his arm and untangling it from around her neck - earning an unsatisfied huff from Jin. "Maybe a bit more," she added, a frustrated groan hearable behind her. She laughed and locked eyes with him through the screen. "I'm sorry, I promise it won't take too long."
Her glistening puppy eyes and the crooked smile on her lips made Jin a weak man. He didn't stand a chance once she sent him that specific look, and they were both aware of that fact. After a long pause of the tallest munching on the inside of his cheek, he finally let out a sigh. "Fiiiiine."
Byulyi smiled at his childishness and returned to the work on her computer.
Humming a simple melody, Jin plopped down on the bed again. He lifted a finger and traced the trail of a raindrop making its way down their window, the mere piece of glass that separated the indoors from the outdoors, the colorful couple from a colorless street.
