Wheein watched as the boy at the desk before her raised his hand impatiently. She tried her best not to stare too much at him and his gorgeous side profile, but it was difficult, very difficult. His facial features were so perfect.

"Yes, Mr. Jung?" the teacher called out, making the boy lower his hand again and lean back in his chair with a satisfied smile playing on his lips. It was no secret that he was the most popular kid at their school. Not necessarily because he was the best looking one - even though he was, in Wheein's opinion - but rather because he was effortlessly funny, a born entertainer. He also did well in school and seemed as though he was kind to everyone around him, even though Wheein couldn't say much about that matter, considering they were not at all in the same circle of friends.

"Can I bring up my suggestion now?" he asked.

The teacher simply nodded. "Sure, go ahead. I love it when students are so eager. You know, most of the time, students tend to be insecure about being in the student council, but it's so cool that you're all here out of free will." The teacher made sure to smile at all of the students before gesturing for the boy to continue.

"Yea, so I was thinking," Hoseok started off, clearing his throat in the process and leaning even further back in his chair. He seemed casual, yet classy at the same time, an intriguing mystery in Wheein's eyes. "We need to get some lights at the basketball court. We're a lot of guys who like to play in the mornings, but it's still quite dark here in the winter."

His tone was so serious, even though his proposal was rather ridiculous. Lights on the basketball court? That was by far the smallest concern in this school, and Wheein couldn't help but let out an almost inaudible scoff. The teacher smiled, however, as if proud of him and his confession.

"I totally see your point, Jung," she said while nodding in that adult way, the way that let the students know that even though she tried to act like their friend, she was still their superior. "I'll write that down as soon as I get back to my office."

Wheein's eyes trailed back to Hoseok who seemed to have gotten a rather victorious look on his face, a look of somewhat joy, but mainly just satisfaction. She saw him lean in and whisper something at the friend beside him. She couldn't help but to wish she had Hyejin by her side. That would make this whole council-thing a lot less nerve-racking and lonely.

"But!" The teacher excitedly clapped her hands together, her intense eyes swirling around the classroom. "Are there any more suggestions from you guys?" No one answered her question and she took that as a sign to continue with a small chuckle; "Then we'll call it a day. Pack up your things and put a mark in your schedules for the 12th of January. That's when our next meeting is held - and by then, I expect everyone to bring up a new suggestion, alright? Have a good day everyone." She waved and all of the students bowed at her before she left the class, finally allowing everyone to breathe again.

"We're finally gonna get those lights now!" The boy who proposed the mentioned suggestion was embraced by multiple students from his year who all seemed to share his excitement; something Wheein couldn't seem to understand. How were they able to care for silly basketball games in the morning when so many other important things were going on in the world?

She slowly started packing up her things, neatly placing her notebook and pencil case in her tote bag before swinging it over her shoulder. She then got up from her seat and carefully tiptoed around the crowd of people, making her way out of the classroom, unnoticed.
