"Officer ? Are you in there ?"
Touya was now 19 years old. And he was officer. He was almost sure it was because of his politician father, but he was still good. And now he had an intern. Geten.
"The fuck you want, Geten ?"
His little intern opened the door to his mess of a office. It was mostly constitued of cases files everywhere on the floor and the desk. Only one thing was clean and ordered : his investigation boards. The first one contained everything about the case Touya was on at the moment, and the second was about Katsuki. He had found more in the past 10 years than a simple runaway, but he had yet to find his friend.
"Aizawa's calling you. A new case or something."
"Ugh."
"Hey old man. What's up ?"
"A case for you. There's a new gang that showed up. Rumors says their leader live in a neutral bar. That mean we wouldn't be able to intervene if needed."
The black haired insomniac paused, searching trought his files. He pulled out a paper.
"That's all the evidence we have. I want you to find out who this leader is, if he really live at this bar, and where we could arrest him."
"Sure old man."
"One more thing..."
Touya paused. What had this sadist invented to annoy him again ? Last time he had that tone, Aizawa put him undercover in a strip club as a worker. Touya obviously didn't want to do it a second time.
"You're paired with Monoma for this."
Monoma wasn't that bad to begin with, but Touya was a loner. He worked alone, and didn't believe in teamwork. To say the last, Monoma and him weren't best friends. Like at all. They didn't hate each other, but were most likely to hold the other back than the opposite.
Which is why Monoma's behavior was really strange right now.
"So. We're both forced investigate together, uh ?"
"I know the place, follow me."
Okay. By strange Touya meant not annoying, bragging about his skills, doing whatever you want to imagine to disburt you. Right now he was quiet, careful and, most of all, useful.
So Touya swallowed down any snarky remark and followed.
Touya knew Monoma was talented, but not at this point. His speciality was repeating any information he saw someone do once. He had some kind of ultra memory. Which, Touya wasn't going to lie, was very useful. His speciality was everything from accidental fire to arson.
They were in front of the bar Aizawa told him about. His blond teammate opened the door. A purple haired man came to greet them.
"Hitoshi ! How long has it been ?"
"Three weeks, Neito. Not that long."
"Come on, I missed you !"
Hitoshi's eyes paused on Touya. He didn't move, uncomfortable under this stranger gaze.
"And who's your friend ?"
"Him ? My friend ? You've gotta be kidding me. But yeah, he thought he knew the best place of this town, so I had to prove him wrong. You're suggesting something ?"
"I mean, there's Shigaraki's special if you want. Everything is free if you can handle the heat."
"Oh God. Touya, you should totally try it !"
