"Well, hop on." Wybie stood motioning Coraline to get on his motorbike.
"Like hell, Wybie! I'd rather walk than have a chance of dying!"
"You'd rather walk, miles and miles, to town than ride with me?! That's just harsh Jonesy." Wybie looked towards her, pouting as if his feelings had just been slaughtered on the battlefield.
"Fine. But if you kill us, I'll kill you." Coraline jumped on the back of Wybie's motorbike, shaking slightly with fear.
"Don't worry," Wybie said calmly, putting his helmet on her, leaving himself without one, "Just make sure to hold on!"
Wybie started the engine up, laughing at how quickly Coraline put her arms around him, trying not to die.
Coraline didn't even look up till Wybie had stopped the engine, signaling that they were finally in town.
"See," Wybie started while taking his helmet off of Coraline, "We didn't die. So...store or food??"
Coraline was pretty hungry though she really didn't want to be here long. She looked at Wybie, who was putting his bike in park and thought that maybe food wouldn't be terrible.
Suddenly, Coraline saw what looked like the shadow of a hand holding buttons lying upon the ground.
"Wybie!!" Coraline ran towards him, shaking from panic. What was that? Could it have been her?
"What, Coraline?" Wybie leaned closer towards her. "What is it?"
Coraline just stood there grasping his arm, unable to come up with words to put with the situation that just happened. All she could do was stare into the place where that shadow had lied.
"Earth to Jones." Wybie waved his hand in front of her face, breaking her from her trance. "Hey, there she is. You ok? Did something happen?"
Coraline felt like she was going crazy. Why did this thing that happened so lo no ahí have such a good over her? Turning to look at Wybie, Coraline spoke.
"There-there was a shadow. It just really looked like...Her. I'm sorry if I worried you." Coraline, still shaking from the initial shock, let go of Wybie's arm and stepped aside. "So, food?"
Wybie looked at her for a second. His demeanor changed once he realized she didn't want to discuss the situation. "Yeah," he said, grabbing ahold of her and dragging her into a little cafe, "Food!"
