Still 10 years earlier-( 1995)

"oh hey, y/n daddy is coming home late again so I will put you to bed tonight." Mom says while driving "oh ok" I look down at my legs saded by the fact that dad is coming home late again ever since he started working at Playtime. Co but I get free passes to the factory that other kids can't get access to

Once we have arrived home I headed to my room and changed out of my clothes and put on some shorts and a shirt that mom got me that was a bit big for me but I liked it anyway.  I brushed my H/l H/c and left my room and headed to the kitchen "oh there you are, here " she puts a dish of my F/f in front of me  "THANKS!!" i give her a big smile  as i grab my food " hey mama" I turn to her as she's  tidying up the kitchen " yes?"  " do you think that papa may be ignoring us by work all day?" Mom stops whatever she doing and looks at me " I don't think he's ignoring us honey Its Just....the workers need more time to finish their work and Daddy isn't the only one staying there late, there are others in there who work at night." I look at her a bit confused with the information she just gives " Its called a night shift sweety where some workers stay up late at night and work" " oh that makes more sense now" I walk away and went to the living room and place my food on the table and turned on the tv to watch some toons while I eat.

After I was done eating I put the plate/bowl in the sink, I look at the window and saw it beginning to get dark outside " what the time?"  I went back to the living room and look at the clock '7:15' i guess i still have time to watch some toons, I sat on the couch again and watched more toons as some time passed by watching some  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dexter's Laboratory, Babar, and The Magic School Bus, I slowly was falling asleep on the couch. "hey y/n bedtime" my mom was slightly shaking me on my shoulder "what time is it ?'" " its 10:10 come on let's go to your room i have a gift for you i been wanting to give you"  I give a soft smile.

I got up from the couch and went upstairs to my room as mom turned off the tv, I got in bed and covered myself with my F/c blanket, Mom came inside my room with a box in her hands. She places the box on the small table and turns on the lamp that is on top of the small table, She turns off the main lights so only the lamp is going out light and she grabs the box " I know I'm not good at sing as your father but I did work on something for a while and i was able to finish it" she says while opening " so i made this" she pulls out something wrapped around with a piece of cloth and hands to me. I grab and started to remove the cloth....it was a necklace with a heart pendant " you made a necklace?"  I look at her and she giggles a bit " It's not just a necklace, the stone here is an opal and there is a little surprise inside"  i look at her confused as she turns the heart pendant to the back, she then twists something and a sound of a music box being twisted is heard " just take a listen"  she says as the music starts playing from the pendent
