after the plane landed, we got off and headed to find our uber. I pulled out my phone to look at the app and our driver looks creepy.
we waited for our bags and headed to the front. "okay I think this is him" I said pointing at the silver car with an uber sticker on the side. me, Kenna, and noah got in the car and headed to the house the producers booked us. and it's the same one we had when we shot both 'a quiet places'.
That's one of my favorite things about acting, you get to travel new places, btw for free! producer or whoever is in charge pays for the expenses.
"It's this one up on the right" Noah says. the driver nods and pulls into the drive way. "thank you!" we all say. the driver also helps us get are bags out of the trunk, how sweet.
i go onto the app and gave him an extra tip! the creepy looking drivers are always the best. unless they actually kidnap you. "don't forget to call mom" McKenna says. "i won't" i say chuckling, "oh that reminds me! i need to call my mom" Noah says as he looks through his bag for his phone. "i can't find it whatever, i'll do it later" he says. we laugh at him.
"so since you guys have been here before, there are no parents?" McKenna asks. "nope" we both say. "really?!" she says. "yep, but the first movie we were with our parents. we were like 10, right?" i ask, "pretty sure it we were 11" he says, "i don't think so" i say. then we started arguing back in forth, "actually you guys were 12," McKenna says looking at her phone, she looked it up.
"so you guys were both wrong" she says smiling, "anyway, since you won't here last time, i'll show your room. millie should be here with her parents anytime" i say. me and McKenna go upstairs. Noah goes to his old room. "this is it" i say, she runs inside "this is awesome!" she says. "yep! just be careful with the xbox" i say walking to my bedroom.
i set my suitcase on my bed and unzip it, i take out a pair of shorts, and a tee shirt to change into. after that i unpacked my bag, putting into my dresser and closet. after, i put my suitcase in the back of closet. i stood in the middle of the room for a second until i heard the front door open, i saw Noah walk to the stair case to see who it was. "it's millie!" Noah tells us.
we all go running down and giving hugs, "were are your bags?" i signed, "we decided we're gonna stay in a different house, it's right next door" her moms signs. millie nods. "are you sure?" Noah signs, millie nods again. "just wanted to say hi" millie signed. we all went back and forth until millie and her family left.
Noah head upstairs, i hear McKenna yawn"ready for bed?" i said to McKenna, she nods. i take her hand and we go into her bedroom. i tuck her in, "aren't you supposed to call mom?" she says, "i'm gonna do that in a bit" i said. "goodnight Kenzie" she says, "night" i say turning off her light and shutting her door.
i went into my room and pulled out my phone and called my mom, "hey mom!" i say, "hey sweetie!, how are you guys doing?" she says, "we're doing good, Kenna likes it here" "well that's good, is she asleep?" she asks, "yea, she stayed awake on the plane the whole time!" i say. "oh, here's your dad" she says handing the phone to my dad. "hey kiddo!" he exclaims. "hey dad!" i say. we talked for about 20 mins before hanging up. i love them.
i threw my bad on my phone and went to Noah's room, he was unpacking, "hey Jupe" i say standing in his door frame "hey" he says going back in forth from his suitcase to closet. "so what did you mean on the plane, 'are we good?' you just said never mind so i'm asking, maybe to actually get a answer because obviously there's a reason" i said teasing him.
"you know i actually don't know" he says, he's lying. i can tell he's lying. "mhm" i say, "you know i actually remember.....
