The start to a problem

As the years passed the two grew even more close and tried their best to survive. On a normal day Sonic and Kida made their way to Green hills sign, "now Sonic remember stay hidden ok" Kida said as she walked down the road while Sonic raced around her fast. "Of course I will" Sonic chuckles Kida rolled her eyes "says the one who almost got caught by crazy Carl last week" she said as she glanced at him "oh yeah right" Sonic said as he scratched his neck. 

Kida's eyes then widened "hey Sonic look" she threw her hand back to grabbed Sonic's arm but she hit him square in the face, a loud smack was heard. "Ow WHAT the heck my pretty blue face" Sonic said as he grabbed his face Kida pulled her hand back "oh shoot sorry". Kida then patted his back "anyways look" she pointed to the Green hills sign where a cop car was "its donut lord". "Ayyeee donut lord...hey come on follow my lead" Sonic said. 

Kida and Sonic walked to the sign but hid. Kida peeked over to see the donut lord aka Tom looking bored and playing around with his police scanner. Sonic then budged her "hey watch this". He then zoomed past the car and the scanner got his speed nd it beeped which alerted the male in the car. Sonic zoomed to the back of the truck and looked through the window at the scanner. He walked back to Kida, Kida smacked him softly "what did ya get and please be careful he should not see you" she whispered to Sonic. "I got 296" Sonic said Kida smiled "sick".

Tom looked at the road but saw no cars "what the". Sonic zoomed past the car again, Tom looked at it and saw 300 its eyes widened. Sonic looked from the back widow of the car to see his number he fist bumped the air, he went back to Kida's side "300" he said Kida high fived him. Tom stepped out of his car and walked down the road a bit Kida saw this and cocked a brow in confusion. Tom then spotted something blue in the grass, Tom bent down and picked up the blue quill. But he got call from Wade "Tom we need you down on main street hurry there been a gang shot out..hahaha sorry im kidding a duck stole a bagel..but they do need it back". Tom drove off in his car. 

Soon a different car drove down the road out of Green hills the person didn't see the turtle that was in the road. But before it could crush it a purple black portal appeared under it and it fell in. The portal closed as the car drove off. A portal above Kida's hands opened and the turtle fell in her grasp "there ya go your save" Kida whispered to it. Sonic then patted the turtles head "you almost got killed out there whats wrong with you some kind of adrenaline junkie it must be ruff being slow all the time" Sonic said. 

Sonic then gasped "I have an idea and its your lucky day" he said to the turtle as he grabbed it from Kida "what are you doing" Kida asked. Sonic then ran of Kida scoffed and ran after him, she ran by his side she saw him holding the turtle who seemed to be smiling. "WHHOO have you ever felt so alive" Sonic shouted Sonic then held the turtle up "this is great your doing amazing" but then the turtle flew out of his hands. Kida shouted "SONIC" "whoops" Sonic shouted he ran back and came back with the turtle "got ya".

They then made it into forest Kida looked to Sonic still holding the turtle who was shaking "ok put the turtle down" she said Sonic put it down and the turtle started shaking. "Ok lets keep this a secret ok I was never hereee" Sonic said as he waved his arms around Kida giggled as she rolled her eyes. "Lets go" Sonic said, Sonic and Kida then zoomed away soon they entered a cave with lots of things inside like beanbags pin pong table made out of a road sign etc. Sonic started zooming around playing with his blow up guitar the tire swing and anything else he had. Kida just chuckled as she watched him playing pin pong by himself from her beanbag chair.

 But Sonic then knocked over the bag of rings when he went to hit the pin pong ball he gasped "oh no" Kida perked up and looked over her shoulder to see Sonic and what had happened. "You...do you think we could be all alone for..the rest of our lives" Sonic asked Kida as he stood with the rings in the bag, Kida sighed she looked down at her hands "it's  50/50 chance I mean even if we find others they my not be nice and we might have to move". Sonic sighed as he looked at the map in his hands that showed other plants the next on if they get caught was the mushroom planet "I hate mushrooms" he mumbled to himself.

Kida frowned she then started playing with her fingers and making small portals to stare at, Sonic noticed her sad face but he smiled nd ran to her side "hey how about we pay our people a visit" Kida smiled and stood up sure. Kida made a portal and they jumped in it on the other side they came out and were on top of a building in the town of Green hills. Soon they ventured to Tom's house and watched his wife who they call pretzel lady who was doing yoga Sonic and Kida started to follow her movements the go on their hands and knee and pulled on of their legs up with one of this arms holding it still. Sonic grunted "ouch ouch ow" he groaned "this hurts".

Soon they zoomed by café and inside crazy Carl was talking to Tom about Sonic and Kida or as he calls them the blue devil and dust devil. "I almost caught them" Carl said

(Flashback)

Carl stood in the forest near his traps with a flash light. But Sonic and Kida zoomed around setting the traps off but the traps were empty, Carl tried to follow the blue and cream dashes of color but he soon was caught in one of his traps. "I know your out there and I know your real" Carl shouted "no we're not" Sonic shouted back which earned him a punch from Kida.

(back to present)

When night started to show Sonic and Kida stood outside Tom and Maddie's house Sonic crossed his fingers "please please" he peeked at the tv to see speed "yes Keanu your a national treasure" Sonic said. Kida just shook her head as they watched to tv. "I love this show" Sonic smiled, "pop quiz hot shot there is a bomb on the bus" the guy from the tv said "pop quiz hot shot classic line" Sonic smiled.

But soon Kida said to call it a night and she and Sonic went back to the cave but Sonic was a bit down. But the next day Kida made it up by taking Sonic to a baseball game, they made it and stood near the forest "whoa the play offs" Sonic said Kida smiled "feeling better" "yes". They zoomed to the benches and watched from underneath them as the kid who hit  home run ran home he was getting high fives and cheers. Sonic smiled at the action cheers could be heard  the team won.

Soon it became dark but the light on the baseball field stayed on Kida and Sonic walked into the area, "whoa cool" Sonic mumbled but he soon spotted some baseball bats and gloves. Sonic started to play with them Kida played as the pitcher. Sonic patted the home plate with the bat "come on pitch it" Kida smiled she pitched it fast and Sonic hit it. Sonic ran around the bases and he also played the out fielders "get it home" Kida shouted to Sonic as he played an out fielder who had the ball, she played along with his game. Soon it ended and Sonic played like his won he jumped around "whoa did you see that I did it I did it" he pulled his hand up for a high five but was met with nothing. 

His face dropped into a frown Kida saw this from the pitcher spot. Sonic looked to the ground sadly, Sonic took of the baseball cap he wore "we are alone" he said to himself he then started to run around the bases fast he started going so fast he dug into the ground with his feet making a long line of holes the connected to make the shape of the bases. He starts to spark electricity suddenly a serge of electricity blasted out of him and into the air. The lights went out and car alerts went off Sonic stood still "uuh im sure no one saw that" Kida ran to him "come on lets go before something happens and we get caught" "yup". They then ran away.
