You looked at John.
John looked at you back.
You took a deep breath, closing your eyes as you tried to comprehend what was going on. First, it was that he only had 4 fingers on each hand. Next, only three toes on each foot. But this? This was something else.
"John."
"Yes, love?"
"Where the hell are your ears?"
He shrugged, not seeming bothered by how confused you were. You had your hands in his hair, having tried to tuck it behind his ear prior to you figuring out he had none. It would have been less weird if he had at least had holes there, but there was nothing- it was smooth- nothing was there at all.
You pulled your hands back, rubbing your eyes tiredly. It was too late for this...
"You're really cute when you're like this~" He purred, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into a hug. "Doe. I cant with you right now" You sigh, chuckling some as you hugged him back.
Well, even if he didnt have ears, you still loved him.
