2 YEARS LATER
it has been two years since hyewon left korea and finally, she came back home
she lost contacts with most of the people she knew, especially her boyfriend she was threated to break up with by her own parents
"hyewon!" sakura ran up to her and hugged her tighly, not even giving her the time to process anything as everything happened so fast for her to understand
"i missed you so much! never leave me like that again!" the japanese girl broke the hug and sniffed, her emotions gettting the best of her as she feels on the verge of tears
"yah why are you crying? if you cry i'll start crying too" the choi smiled and sniffed too, getting emotional just like her best friend
"let's go to a cafè and drink a coffee, you have A LOT to tell me" miyawaki sakura crossed arms with her and dragged her out of the airport

i'll order the coffees, you just search for a table" hyewon told her, opening her bag to take out her wallet and already approaching the counter
while waiting for her turn, something caught her attention. one barista's back looked too familiar to her, even the haircut, but she just couldn't recall who it belonged to
"what can i get you miss?" a boy with red pink-ish hair asked, smiling warmly at her as his dimples caved on his cheeks
"a dark iced coffee, an iced tea, a slice of red velvet cake and one of the chocolate cake"
"sunoo-hyung, get me a slice of red velvet and one of the chocolate cake" hyewon froze, hearing the boy's words and not believing her ears. it couldn't be her sunoo who she left here two years ago
"here—" sunoo finally looked at who was at the other side of the counter, frozing completely like her as he almost dropped the plates with their cakes if his friend didn't took them from his hands
"h-hey sunoo . . " she smiled lightly, waving her hand expecting a reaction from him but nothing. sunoo was completely emotionless again
his cold personality was back. cold outlook just like the first time they met as his eyes had no emotions at all. the only thing that changed was the fact that his hair were now platinum blonde instead of black
the spark in his eyes faded
"can we talk? i really need to tell you something" the girl pleaded him with her eyes, expecting him to still have that soft spot for her but nothing
