Two Demons in Love| Daki x Nezuko

Chapter 1:

Nezuko  Kamado POV:

On a cold night in The House of the Uppermoons, the night still seemed unpleasant. I could hear the screams of young ladys and men being devoured by demons. I couldn't help but to sit on the roof and just listen. For some reason, it was satisfying to hear. Maybe it's because I'm a demon and I hear that most of the time. As I was listening to the screams getting louder,  suddenly I heard footsteps from behind me. Sensing who it was, I didn't bother to get up. It was just Tanjiro coming from my bedroom window.  

"Nezuko, what are you doing here? You know it's not safe to remain out here... Not at this time of the night." Tanjiro asked. 

"Brother, let me at least stay out here." I said, feeling annoyed at the conclusion of my words. The sigh of Tanjiro was followed by an examination of the cold sky. 

"Then don't blame me if you're attacked by a demon slayer or a Hashira." He said, jumping off the roof. After a while I found Daki. She was wearing her disguise, and I didn't understand why she was wearing it, we were inside the temple, no one could attack us. She turned to me without looking surprised. 

"Nezuko, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out risking your life?" Daki said. 

"Well Tanjiro convinced me to come back inside. So, I have nothing better to do. What are you doing in your disguise?" I replied. 

"I don't know. I guess I just wanted to impersonate my disguise for a little bit. Hmph..." Daki said. Daki's sashes flew all over the place, causing her to change into her uppermoon form. For some reason, she looked prettier than before. Wait what am I'm I thinking it's Daki! The girl who almost killed my brother and myself, and I think she's pretty!? No, I must be sick or something. 

"What are you still doing here? Aren't you going to go back out and put your life in danger again?" Daki said. She made me annoyed so I rolled my eyes and left her room. I walked around trying to find something to do when I ran into Tanjiro and Master Muzan. I didn't want them to notice me so I hid behind the corner, eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Master Muzan, I know I'm suppose to protect Nezuko, but she's becoming to reckless for me to keep an eye on. She's risking her life at the worst moments. I don't know what to do." Tanjiro said with a disappointing tone. 

"Tanjiro, I don't know what you should. In fact, I'm not sure myself. The best thing we can do is have her stay with Demon Slayer Corps. I hate that idea but it seems like the only option." Muzan said.

"No! I refuse to let her stay with them. As far as they know we died on our mission with Daki. Nezuko can't go back to them. There has to be another solution." Tanjiro replied in a worrying voice.

"The only other option is we let her stay with a demon. Perhaps an uppermoon. Maybe a uppermoon can watch her while you do you duties." Muzan replied.

"Yes, that's a better solution. Maybe it can be Daki or Nakime. Some Uppermoon rank that she can relate to a little bit." Tanjiro said.

"I think Daki will be the best option for her. Since Nezuko can go out in the daylight, maybe Daki can watch her during the daylight too. Only if Daki has an Umbrella with her at all times she will be safe from being caught on fire. If you agree to this I will ask Daki to watch over her." Muzan said. 

"Yes, I agree to this Muzan." Tanjiro replied.

"Good, I'll ask Daki in a few minutes. You go and rest a for a little bit, you have people to devour tomorrow." Muzan said.

"Yes, Master Muzan." Tanjiro replied. Tanjiro walked out the room and I hid behind the other corner. so he couldn't see me. Master Muzan was gone by the time I looked back into the room. I was appalled at the idea of getting me a" bodyguard". Maybe Daki will say no and I don't have to worry about that. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow.
