Chapter 36: The "Backup"

Suve Pov
I pick up my imbecilic little friend. "You'll pay for making me have to carry you.." I say to him, completely aware that he would never know I ever said that due to him being unconscious. I struggle to get up but manage. 'I forgot about my leg. Damn it.' I begin to slowly walk towards the door. "If it weren't for me being the weak fool I am, Hunter would still be okay. I guess this is my fault." I say to myself as tears begin to stream down my face.

Brandon Pov
"There's the place!!" I yell out to Gaby and Gillian, pointing to the large building.
"We're already late. They could be in trouble because of us." Gillian states as we all stop in front of the building. I nod and kick the door down. Who doesn't love a little dynamic entry every now and then?

Suve Pov
I suddenly trip over my own two feet and fall to the ground, dropping Hunter in the process. "D-Damn it."
"Don't betray me and leave my side. No matter what." Hunter's words echo in my head, causing the tears to stream down even more.
"I'm still here, Hunter.." I say as I start crying even harder than before.

I begin to hear loud footsteps. Crap.. I can't move. My leg.. Maybe this is the end for us. "Well, if this is the end, I guess I'm glad my best friend is here with me." I say as I lay down next to him.
"GUESS WHO?!" Vincent runs up in front of the door and says creepily. I wipe the tears from me eyes as he slowly opens the door.
"Haven't you done enough already? Leave." I look at Vincent and state assertively, placing my hand over Hunter.
"Done enough? I've barely done anything.." He begins walking over to us. "Looks like it is the end!! There's nothing I can do. I give up." I look down at Hunter as Vincent gets closer and closer.

"How pathetic.." I hear a voice say as a random knife comes out from the doorway and hits Vincent in the shoulder. "I never thought the 'Great Suve' would give up."
"B-Brandon?!" I say shocked, knowing that's obviously his voice.
"The one and only." He walks into the room and smiles. His smile soon fades as he sees Hunter.
"Tell me something, Suve." I turn my attention to him. "Why did you say you give up?"
"I thought it was the end. Like there was no hope."
"Well, the minute you think of giving up, think of the reason why you held on for so long." Brandon extends his arm. "Promise?"
"Yeah, I promise." (Ha!! No tfios for you bish!!! Jk) I grab his arm and he helps me back up to my feet. Hunter.. I'm gonna fix this.. I'll make him pay!! Maybe all of them while I'm at it!!

A/N: Looks like we're slowly but surely approaching the end of the story.. Also.. You're welcome Sunter fangirls/guys everywhere. That may or may not be the last Sunter moment in the book though..
