The truth

The day has come

I started getting ready for another long night as Danny still is upset so he is in his room streaming I quietly knocked on the door and tell him I'm leaving he just nods and continues to whatever his adhd mind was doing

"Hey wait" I hear him say and I look at him again in confusion
"Me and my friends are going out today, so I might not be here when you're back." I smile and nod"it's about time you get out the house you gremlin-" I laugh a little and we say bye as I walk to work

It is a lazy night today so I'm just talking to the bar tender as three guys walk in

"Well talking to you later cole" I say goodbye and start walking to the stage to hopefully make some money as I'm on my way I look at the three men ....I think I've seen them before-

I get a closer look and gasp and quickly hide

"What the hell is Danny doing here!?!" I mumble to myself as I panic trying to think of what I'm going to do

My manager comes up to me "this guy what's a lap dance (nickname)"

I start to panic more *maybe he won't notice me...but what if he wanted the-* you think as you shake the thoughts"o-ok I'll be right there ..." She nods and walks away as she gets the male ready

You sigh and walk to them just wanting to get it over with

You look to see who's in the chair and see its danny before he notices you one of his friends say"come on this will definitely get your mind off of that girl"

*what girl?* you think to yourself

Danny just looks annoyed "this won't solve anything...I'm going home"he stands up and turns around then and looks around with money in his hand"sorry just take this-..." And he freezes as he just looks at you

You nervously laugh"s-so you don't want-?"

He slowly shakes his head "n-no but keep the money"

His friend breaks the silent"can we go get food then I heard there's a new burger place that opened up everyone is saying its good" then the other agrees as you And Danny just keep looking at each other and whispers: why didn't you tell me?-" you look down then his friends pull him away to leave

After your shift is over you pack up your stuff heading out the back as you a shadow

"Hello?.."

The Shadow steps into the light and you see it's Danny

You nervously laugh and joke around"Danny you scared me"

"When were you going to tell me?.."

You sigh as you knew this day would come

"To be honest...I don't know danny..I was scared and embarrassed..I guessed if you knew you wouldn't see me the same and would want nothing to do with me.."

He gets closer and hugs you tightly"..let's go home ok? " you melt in his arms after a long tiring day and you simply nod

You are walking hand and hand to your house
"Is that why you didn't want me to walk you there and back?"

"Yea..I don't have anywhere else to work at...so that's why I haven't quit "I feel his thumb rub my hand

"Why didn't you ask for my help?.."

"Because I didn't want you to have to save my butt like you always do...plus I think I found another place to work"I smile and look the beautiful water and sunset I stop as danny does the same

"Do you still feel the same about me?....am I still the girl you like...y-your world?"

I feel his hand gently hold my cheek as I look at him

"You're truly an idiot you know that...of course you are"

"I'm not a idiot!!" You both laugh as you lay your head on him smiling at the sunset

"I like you too danny.."
