"You're finally coming back!" Lucas yelled into the phone.
"Yeah after two years, I feel like it's time for me it go back to Hawkins, I miss everyone" Veronica replied.
Deep down Veronica knew the truth - she was anxious and scared to go back. What if everyone hated her? What if everyone changed? What if she changed too much? She was tired and scared. She didn't feel like talking.
"Shit, I have to go bye I love you" Veronica mumbled as she hung up the phone.
In a week she'd be back, back in the small town she desperately wanted to escape, back to her old friends Steve, Jonathan and Nancy.
