My summer so far has deffinitely been fun. My parents want me to have fun but their defition of "fun" is either reading the whole time or working for money. I mean, the working part sucks but at least I get paid. I actually want some fun during my summer though.

Shit. It's Claire. My girlfriend has been bugging me ever since the school bell rang that summer break started. I mean, I like her and all, but she can sometimes wants me to give her attention 24/7.
I flip my phone the other way and I get surprised with all the texts and calls. 5 missed messages and 2 missed called.
Hey sorry Claire, I'm at work and we're short on staff.
okay, but at least talk to me on the phone while working!
Claire, if my parents EVER find out that I'm with my phone during work, they will legit kill me.
ugh fine. at least hurry because i want to kiss you so bad rn!!!
Oh god. See what I'm saying? Annoying as hell. She won't give up a single damn minute without bothering me.
I guess I had a disgusted look on my face, because Mr. Lawford noticed.
"You okay son?" He laughs, "you seem a bit off than usual."
"Yeah don't worry about it." I say again, looking at my phone. I see Claire typing.
I turn off my phone as soon as possible before it said I read her message.
This is going to be a fun summer. Yay.
