--------------------------------------------------------------

You ran away as he tried to grab your hand. That was the first time he has ever touched you, refusing to believe he wasn't physically repulsed by your body.

You ran to the female toliets to hide. You didn't care you were missing the first subject of the school year, the shock was too much.

You curl yourself up to a ball next to the toliet door. Hiding your body is one of the ways you learned to cope.

You still felt Steve's touch and it made your eyes burn and your lips quiver.

You suddenly hear voices. Familiar voices. "Did you see Y/N this morning? Steve was flirting with her it was so pathetic. He really will try with anyone, even a pig. She may have lost weight but shes not skinny."

"Oh Shush, I'm over Steve I couldn't care less."

You cringe. Nancy Wheeler. Why did she have to be here in this moment. Of course Steve wouldn't be interested in someone like me.

Someone who's stomach still pokes out, were the jean hurts in my tummy. Trying to hold it all in.

End scene

Steve couldn't believe how Y/N had changed over the summer. She had gotten so small.

He couldn't stop thinking about how curvy her hips were in those jeans and how her boobs are so... big.

He just wanted to grab her from behind with his big hands.

(Authors note: let's be real, Steve would think like this!)

He was concerned about her reaction to his touch. Did she really dislike him that much? He wanted to know if she was ok.

He'd never admit it to anyone, but he knew something was wrong for such a big change.

He too was concerned about physical appearance. He didn't eat much, not on purpose but it was how he was. He took extra care of his hair. He knows it's his best feature.

But he knew how Y/N used to be, he would always see her eating in the cafeteria alone or in the yard. She seemed to wince whenever he mentioned food.

He just wanted to grab her and tell her he was scared. Scared of loosing her. But he didn't even know if she felt the same.

He felt uncomfortable whenever she skipped meals and hid in the library. Sometimes he sneaked in there to check on her but he never said anything.

Y/N wouldn't believe Steve Harrington knew where the library was.

He had tried speaking to Robin about it but she said Y/N looks good now and he shouldn't bother.

Robin was smart about somethings but clueless about girls. Steve knew this. Especially after dating Nancy, there was always another reason.
