     " What are you smiling at?" I heard a voice from behind me, turning around, our eyes met. His eyes burning into mine, the she wolfs had already left him and he was close enough for me to hear him growl gently. "Mate.." My eyes widen and I turn around to run,  only find myself to bump into another male, nearly falling backwards. " 'ello there little one." the male says with a smirk trying to grab a hold of me. He has golden hazel eyes , dark brown hair and tanned skin. "I'm Devin" he said smuggly ,I heard a snarl from behind me and turn to see the silver eyed male. 

      " Don't touch my mate" his eye darken in anger. The other male smiles, "Look 'ere, mate, I got to 'er first" My eyes darken as rage begins to boil inside me. " No one got to me first." I glare at the new male. " I am NOT some property to fight over!" I bare my teeth at both of them and they visually cringe. The other male smirks" Feisty, bet you be lot of fun to play with" he growls seductively and I snarl at him.

     It took what felt like forever, but I got one male to go away. I feel a light touch on my waist, it sent shivers down my spine. I move away, giving the male a warning growl. " Don't you dare touch me, boy" I snap and his beautiful silver eyes fill with hurt.

      "I am Shaun. Shaun Valparaiso." he says in a calm voice, still looking at me. " Virgo Stidolph" I say angrily. He reached for me, but I moved away once again. Suddenly, he grabs my arm and pulls me rough against him and he a whisper in my ear. " Listen here, princess, You're mine. You understand? When they call your name and ask if anyone wants you, I will be claiming you as my mate" Every word, every touch, even the smell of him, caused me to shiver. I shake my head and then push him away from me as they start to call the she wolfs into a line. I turned around, looking him dead in the eye. " I am no one's" and I turned back around and made sure to sway my hips in just the slightest. Jewlia was giddy as a puppy and  yapping up a storm.

My legs felt like jelly as I stood there silently waiting for my name to be called. Name after name after name, only a few she wolfs had gotten mates. The lady from earlier stood in front of me smiling and called out my name. " Virgo Stidolph, age 19, and comes from the Star Light Pack and is scored 6/10 on strength" the lady called out. It was silent for a moment, but the Shaun appeared out of the crowd staring at me.

 " Mine" he calls out, I hear gasps and whispers. The lady smiles and nods then moves on, leaving me with Shaun. I felt my soul leave my body as he reached out for me I backed away, growling

     He grabs my wrist and drags me to a car, just outside the ceremony and he opens the passengers door. " Get in" he grunts lightly and I cringe but obey. He gets in and starts the car, drive me to my new home. I silently kick off my shoes in the car as we pass some woods. I open my car door an bolt into them, tripping a few times. "Virgo! Get the fuck back here!" I here Shaun yell angrily. I kept running, getting hit with branches, leaves, tripping on roots and thorns. I notice that the trees were starting to thin out. " No, no, no!" I shout in my head. Jewlia whimpers in my head and I see her cowering. 'Our mate is very angry with us' She whimpers loudly.

      " No shit!" I snarl at her . I looked around for a better place to run when the world flips over and Jewlia whines in fear. I hear an angry snarl " Stupid little girl, don't run away from me" Shaun's grip on my legs, just under my buttocks, tightens as he holds me on his shoulder. I start beating my fists on his back in rage "Let me go!"I snarl at him and he throws me off his shoulder and onto the ground, knocking the wind out of me. I lay there dazed and I feel him pin my wrists above my head and pin my legs down with his own.
