STEVE POV

----

Once back home, Nat smiles at me, but it seems hollow. Finally, I decided to ignore it after a short mental conversation. We're married! I love her so much, and this is a dream come true.

"Do you maybe want to go to Turqiouse meadows? It's going to be our first date as a married couple! I heard that at this time, the grass is teal! So I'll take us there," I nod giddily and plant a soft kiss on Nat's cheek. She happily smiles at me as we get into the car.

After a long drive, we find ourselves in a dark forest with trees as tall as giraffes and a miserable mist covering everything around us in a shadow.

"Babe, this isn't near turquoise meadows at all," I trust her, but I don't know where she's taking me. Her lips curl into a devilish smile.

"I know. We're going to the HYDRA base,"

Nat must have been mind-controlled by the Charm Widow, a magical being that created HYDRA. I tried to open the doors but to no avail. They were locked shut, and they had the child lock on. I wrenched myself to the front, not looking at Nat as I tried to unlock the doors from the front pad, but I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my neck and blackness.

-----

I awake to a woman in front of me. I'm on a chair. Her hair is a deep purple with blue, green, red and orange highlights. She's wearing a shiny, metallic dress, and a bracelet on her wrist has five different charms. A purple wisp, a red wisp, a lightning bolt, a flame, and a leaf adorning the bracelet. The Charm Widow, I had heard rumours about her.

"Now, he should be controlled now. Let's test him before we give him the cure to keep. I'll give him an order. Shoot the target," I need to keep my act up. I shoot the target with a gun on the table and keep my face emotionless.

"Good, give him the cure," The guard at the corner of the room gave me a vial of a green liquid. Perfect. Then I can cure Nat!

I excuse myself and walk through the halls, looking everywhere for Nat's familiar face. I see many girls, red-heads, but no Natasha. I finally see her walking down the hall with her familiar sass and attitude. I run up to her and look her in the eyes.

"What do you want?" Her cold shoulder breaks my heart a little.

"Just drink this and keep your cover after drinking it," Nat starts to shake her head, but I force it into her mouth anyway. Her face turns green and she falls to the ground unconscious. An alarm started to sound. so I picked her up and ran into a closet. It was a trick, how could I have fallen for that?

"Oh...hello," The white face of the widow peeked through the closet...
