Chapter II [Moving on]

|| Dream had been living with Fundy for a few months now, and the two got to know eachother more. Unlike George, Fundy always showed affection when Dream needed it. Dream was grateful for Fundy's kindness, he wouldn't know what to do if he never met him. ||

|| George and Dream have been encountering each other recently, Dream tries to act friendly around him but George just gives him the cold shoulder but one time, things almost got messy when Dream accidentally blurted out ill words about him and George didn't like that. He was going to punch Dream but there were other people around ||

|| Fundy noticed Dream and George's unhealthy relationship with eachother nowadays, He went to talk to Dream. He saw Dream at the couch, he jolted up and smiled like he was waiting for him to get home. Fundy smiled back and walked to Dream ||

|| "Hey Fundy!" Dream smiled waving to Fundy "Hey Dream." Fundy chuckled sitting down next to him "How was your day?" Dream asked shifting closer to Fundy, he felt safe around him.  "It's been good, and uh Dream... Can I tell you something?" Fundy's ears lowered, Dream sensed that this discussion was gonna be serious "Yeah, sure. What is it?" Dream muttered ||

|| "I think you should stay away from George." Fundy sighed, Dream stopped for a moment, he looked down at his knees "I know, you're trying to be friends with him again but I don't like seeing you get pushed away by him like you're just some kind of object." Fundy's ears pinned back as he spoke. Dream thought of Fundy's words "Maybe you're right... Guess I'm just an object in George's eyes huh?" Dream sighed, tears falling from his eyes ||

|| "No Dream, you're not an object. He's just some fuck who can't tell you apart from a punching-bag." Fundy placed his paw on Dream's hand. "Please tell me you aren't lying, Fundy." Dream frowned, he has gotten worse at trusting people due to George's excuses "I don't have a reason to lie, Dream." Fundy smiled, he nudged his muzzle on Dream's forehead. Dream's eyes lit up due to the gesture "Fundy... You're the sweetest person I ever met. I'm grateful for you..." Dream smiled while still shedding tears "It's the least I could do. Stop crying, I don't like to see you cry." Fundy chuckled wiping off the tears from Dream's face, Dream laid his head on Fundy's shoulder whispering out 'Thank you'. Fundy let Dream rest on his shoulder and cuddled with him for the rest of the day while watching movies on the TV ||

|| Dream stayed away from George not even daring to look his way, whenever George looked at him, Fundy gave George the death stare to tell him not to touch Dream. George started to despise Fundy along wih Dream and talked ill behind his back but Fundy didn't care and focused on Dream. ||

|| Fundy was planning to tell Dream something, the two were at a park and were sitting on a bench, Fundy decided to shoot his shot. "Uh hey, Dream?" Fundy poked Dream, his tail twitching a tiny bit "Yeah?" Dream turned to Fundy "Do you wanna go out with me, like a little date?" Fundy murmured, sweating. What if Dream rejects him? ||

|| Dream stared at him for a few moments "Of course, what reason do I have to deny?" Dream nodded, Fundy's eyes lit up "You serious?" Fundy's ear twitched "Mhm." Dream smiled "Oh thank you, thank you!" Fundy's tail wagged, Dream chuckled ||

|| The two dressed up for their date. They went out and to Fundy's car, Fundy opened the door for Dream before going to the driver's seat. Dream got comfy in the seat and looked at Fundy "So where are we going? " ||

|| "It's gonna be a surprise!" Fundy said as he started the car and drived "I like surprises!" Dream playfully responded. "I know you do." Fundy chuckled, they reached the place, Fundy parked the car before going out and opening the door for Dream. ||

|| Dream looked forward and his eyes lit up, Fundy padded beside Dream "Ice skating sounds fun right?" Fundy smiled at Dream in awe. Dream then turned to Fundy with a smile "Of course Fundy! You know what I like!" Dream chirped which sends butterflies to Fundy's heart. ||

|| "Lets get ready then." The two then got ready putting on jackets and scarfs so they don't shiver from the cold. They then went in the rink, Dream was amazed. Fundy then turned to the dirty blonde and held his hand "Ya ready?" Fundy smiled, Dream nodded in response. Fundy then slid across the ice dragging Dream along with him, Dream winced as he was losing his balance, he wasn't used to skating since he hasn't done it alot. "Careful." Fundy chuckled, Dream kept his footing relaxed and slid his feet like Fundy did. "You're doing great, do you think you can do it on your own?" Fundy asked he wanted to make sure Dream doesn't get hurt "I think so." Dream nodded looking down to his feet "Alright then." ||

|| Fundy slowly let go and slid to face Dream. Dream slid safe and slowly, he was a little wobbly but he was getting decent, Fundy eyed the dirty blonde unless he had to catch him if he slipped. Dream then smiled and twirled "Ah wait-" Fundy was a little startled, Dream startled to tumble over. Fundy rushed over and catched Dream by the hand before he hit the ground. "Oh, Thank you." Dream chuckled nervously, "Yeah maybe you shouldn't skate on your own." Fundy lifted Dream's hand making him stand up straight "Hold on to me okay?" Fundy reassured holding Dream's other hand. ||

|| The two danced on the ice, Fundy held Dream close so he wouldn't fall, Dream started to get the hang of it and slid his feet across the ice along with Fundy. The two spun around the ice eyeing each-other not paying attention to anyone else. "Woah!" Dream yelped as Fundy dropped him but he grabbed him by the hand and his other hand resting on Dream's back "Don't worry, you won't fall. Not when I'm around." Fundy chuckled. The two continued their dance for a good hour or two, it was now 8 pm, the moon was peeking from the sky. ||

|| The two slid to the exit of the rink and back to their car "That was fun huh?" Fundy asked "Mhm, I'm looking forward to more dates with you!" Dream chuckled. Fundy was proud to hear that "You will soon." Fundy smiled before going in the car after Dream did. He then drove back to his house. ||
