Kara and Lena had been dating for a while, but no one knew, because Lena is Kara’s teacher. So, their relationship is a secret among everyone, not even Kara's sister Alex knows about it. That’s why whenever Kara was with Lena, Kara pretended to be at Nia's.

Even when she met her lover and secretly kissed her at school, she craved being alone with her and not having to worry if anybody was watching. After begging and begging Lena for some time during the week she convinced her for a movie night and a sleepover with sexy time after school.

Although her plan didn't include her mom reminding her of the exam she's taking the following day, which she completely forgot about.

And of course, Kara acted like a rational thinking adult and canceled her date with Lena in order to study at home for the exam. Not. Thus, she did what felt right and met Lena, enjoying the night with a guilty conscience. Obviously.

The school day was fine. Her highlight of the day was her last two lessons in biology with Lena as her teacher.

After the class ended Kara told Winn to leave, because she needed to speak with Ms. Luthor about something very important.

“Ms. Luthor, May I have a minute of your time?” – “Sure, is it because of the exam?” Lena inquired and her brow furrowed.

“No… I mean yes, somehow…” Kara lied. “Yes or No. It’s a simple question, Ms. Danvers.” Lena put her bag down and starred at Kara.

“So, I wondered if you could specify what will be included.” The blonde stuttered.

Lena gave her student a confused look but thought it was her excuse to talk alone with her, so she played her part and said in a strict voice, “You’re kidding? You are aware that the exam is scheduled for tomorrow, correct?”

Even if it was a great excuse to catch her up, it was also ornate. She rolled her eyes theatrically and pulled her documents out of her bag.

They went over each one and separated the ones that were relevant. She gathered her belongings after everyone had left the room and stated, "I hope this was just a way to get me alone." Her gaze was drawn to Kara, who was standing and leaning on the back of her padded desk chair. Then she added, "Otherwise, you-”

Kara cut her off and mumbled “Of course it was, babe.” She slipped a small bite in her ear after applying the pet's name.

However, Lena was skeptical, but trusted her girlfriend and let her pull her out of the seat and through the room hand in hand.

They didn't leave school together, hand in hand but side by side, talking like a teacher and a student, not like a couple, besides the fact that Kara got into Lena’s car, and they drove to hers.

Luckily, Kara had smart and kind friends like Winn, who sent her his summary of the test on their on the ride home.

It was late afternoon till they finally arrived at Lena’s apartment.

As Lena offered to cook, because Kara agreed to study in the meantime. But amidst all the learning, Lena noticed Kara mostly chatting or watching her cooking and, in the moments, when Lena caught Kara's staring, Kara looked to her phone again.

Therefore, she threw a tea towel at Kara to get her attention. “I told you, to learn, not to chat, goober.”

“Hey, unfair!” She put her phone down “I did, but..." She laughed and threw the towel back at Lena.
