BELLA KNEW IT WAS TIME TO move on from Chris when she saw him walk into the house with a certain ginger following behind. She wasn't sure why it hurt her so much since everyone had known for weeks that him and Liv were back on speaking terms and they were.. whatever they are.
Amara gave her best friend a knowing look, as she too noticed the pair walk in together. Amara placed her gaze on Vinnie who was joking around with Nick and Vinnie, Bella following her gaze not being able to suppress her smile.
She definitely felt something for Vinnie, much more than just butterflies but her feelings for Chris just overpowered them, overpowered everything.
But how many times was she going to allow herself to continue hurting herself when it was so clear that Chris didn't like her half as much as she likes him, that was if he even liked her.
He was so confusing.
"I can feel you thinking about him" Amara sighed, flicking through the pages on the current book she was reading. Bella just rolled her eyes, telling her she wasn't thinking about Chris.
"He's leaving in a week B" She told her, not at all pleased that there has been no progression between the two. "Do you like him? Even if it's a little bit, cling onto that, persue it! Something really good could come out of this. And don't say you will because you've said this for a week and a half now"
"I know, I know" Bella sighed, throwing her head back onto the couch dramatically. "I'm just scared, i don't want it to be one sided again"
"This is the "Chris-Obsessed Bella" speaking right now. Did he not try to kiss you? Twice? If he didn't like you he wouldn't of-."
"Me and Chris kissed?" she whispered "More times than that, and what has come out of that, him getting back with his ex and not once has Chris said he has any feelings for me"
"I understand that, but first of all, they're not together and second, Vinnie isn't Chris" Amara told her, placing her hand on Bella's. "Feed that into you brain because you keep comparing them two and it really is not healthy"
