Chapter 2

(Bella's Pov)

"Jasper" I said shocked at the return of my former friend and ally.

"Let go of her" Jasper sneered violently at Victoria making her wince.

"You can't make me" Victoria snarled trying to make it a threat.

"Watch me." Jasper lunged for Victoria, she tried to run away with my neck still in her grasp but got caught by Jasper. I fell to the ground with barely any air lefts in my lungs.

"Don't you ever touch her again" Jasper growled at Victoria with threat in his beautiful golden eyes. Wait did I just say his eyes are beautiful? Never mind that, I need to focus on breathing and moving. I tried moving my legs and arms and winced in pain. i looked up to see jasper throw Victoria across the room and her scramble out the door. Jasper turned towards me and swiftly came to my side, he softly picked me up and ran to the bedroom. When he put me down I finally had enough breath to say "Jasper... why are you here? Did Edward send you? How did you find m..." I couldn't even finish my last thought before jasper calmly said

"Bella I know you have a lot of questions but please bear with me, I'll tell you the story and answer the questions but just wait a sec while I get you fixed up okay?" I nodded

"I think I need to get you in the shower or tub. Jasper said looking me over. "your covered in blood." Then a new question burned in my mind "Why wasn't Jasper attacking me or trying to bite me isn't he not yet used to being around human blood? That question sent a shiver down my spine wondering what would happen if Jasper couldn't control himself. "Can you walk?" I looked down at my bloody legs and shook my head, and winced in pain. "Ok I'll carry you" Jasper carefully put his arm under my legs and his other arm around my waist. I put my arms around his neck making sure I didn't fall. Jasper carried me to the bathroom And set me down on the counter while he started filling up the bathtub. "Do you want me to order food while you um... take a bath or...."

"Can you please stay with me and help me undress and clean my cuts?" I asked Jasper embarrassed.
"Of Course Little Lady" Jasper said with a smirk on his face.
Jasper undressed me to my underwear and carefully put me in the tub to help me clean my cuts. when I was done Jasper picked me out of the tub and set me on the bed and started to talk. "Well I am not a part of the Cullen
Coven anymore" Jasper said in a small voice. I gasped. "Why" I asked
"Well it all started when..."
