Will this be another story I don't complete? Probably. But I hope anyone who reads this enjoys it anyways :)
The time line may be a bit confusing, it'll be set in 2022 but will follow coronation streets storyline from around 2020/21 (I'll try my best to make the scenes make sense but if u don't watch it it may be confusing) but also in the story's timeline the first maze runner would've just come out. Also the ages will be different cause just I wanna confuse everyone even more 😃, your character will be around 19/20 and Thomas will be like 22ish I guess. (I changed his age cause I though 19 and 24 would be a bit iffy especially considering Davide is being called a nonce on love island for being 27 liking a 19 year old), y/n will mainly be more feminine so if you don't really like that stuff and wanna stop reading that's fine, anyways I'm babbling and I think that's all you need to know so let's goooo
You know the drill: y/n= your name e/c= eye colour h/c= hair colour things with f/ normally mean favourite and so on and so on
LETS GET INTO IT!!!YOUR POV:
"You need to tell me everything Kelly," I tilted my head to look into her blue, glazed over eyes as she continued to dodge my view. Her blonde hair had loads of fly aways and she looked like clog were turning in her brain: debating whether she should trust me or not."Fine, I'll tell you," she mumbled and took a deep breath.
"CUT!" The director screamed, "That was perfect, now go get ready for the soap awards!" He ushered us off set and we made our way to hair and makeup.
Two hours later
Lila, who was my makeup artist, had finally finished perfecting her artwork and my face looked as good as it could get; she'd also finished fiddling with my hair, making sure it was perfect, as my usual hairdresser was off sick. I now stood waiting my turn to walk onto the carpet in a white spaghetti strap dress with ruching along both sides, matching white sandal-like heels wrapped around my feet: causing them immersive discomfort. The pale, subtle pink Lila had put on my eyelids was probably fading as I blinked as much as I could to try and prevent me from doing it while the cameras would be flashing me from all angles.
Taking a big stride forward my shoes finally reached the classic red carpet, oh how I had dreamed of doing this since I was a little girl... A subtle smile was plastered on my face to try and make sure I looked decent in the pictures that would soon be uploaded to the internet to haunt me forever, I didn't want to look miserable and be hated on but I also didn't want to look like a crazy fan girl who had finally made her way to tv, I wanted to look normal. I needed to look professional. As I continued to move down the carpet it finally hit me: I did it. After 14 years of dreaming I finally did it.
'The carpet wasn't as long as I thought' I spoke to myself inside my head as I entered a big ballroom; it had golden wall trims with intricate embellishments carved into it, the rest of the walls were covered in a deep red that climbed up to the high ceilings. A dazzling crystal chandelier was hung in the very center, I stood there gawking at it as every else acted as though it was a normal sight for them. Rows of tables were lined up, decorated with different foods in every different colour. Pink macarons stood out to me and I took a bite of one, holding my free hand out underneath to catch any crumbs: it was like heaven had blessed my taste buds, there was a strong flavour of strawberry with subtle and delicate hints of raspberry and pear, all swirling in my mouth in a cohesive manner.
As I went to take another bite I noticed someone across the room looking at me, they had blond, semi-scruffy hair, deep chocolate eyes and a very cute baby face. Cute? Oh Lord, this was always my problem. This is why I could never talk to boys, the second they looked even half decent I had already developed a crush on them. A glow of pink erupted from under my makeup as I noticed he wasn't just looking at me, he was staring.
"The cast of coronation street needs to start making their way to their seats," a man, one of the staff of the award ceremony, called.
Well that had saved me from this awkward situation. I made my way through the big double doors the man had came from and found my seat. Our cast was sat on the far left, taking up half of a couple rows and a fair chunk of the bottom seating area where all the actors and actresses from different soaps sat. It took about half an hour for everyone to be seated and for the presenter, Philip Schofield, to come onto stage, followed be a few makeup artists and a couple members of the production crew to make sure everything was perfect before the awards started broadcasting live to itv; but as everyone was piling in a kept an eye on the door, wondering who the man staring at me was. When he came through I noticed he didn't sit down, he walked across the room and through the next set of doors where only a few people vacated to. I didn't have time to wonder though as the awards started and my attention was drawn back to the stage.
An hour and 15 minutes later
"Next up we have the award for Best on-screen Partnership which will be announced by two people well known for their on-screen and off-screen relationship which has blossomed from the release of their new movie! It's Dylan O'Brien and Thomas Brodie Sangster'" Philip announced and stalked to the side of the stage where the cameras could no longer see him but the audience could. Two men stepped onto the stage, both wearing suits and roughly the same height. One had brown hair and a very masculine figure while the other was blonde and quite lanky, the man you had seen earlier. The one with brown hair began speaking into the mic as the blonde ones cocoa eyes connected with yours and he playfully winked. Your heart skipped a beat. Oh shit.
