RAYNES POV

"I can't believe you don't get to go." I tell Micah as we pack some last few items. We would be leaving for the Kingsmoon pack in Riverdale soon.

"And I can't believe you are going! That's so exciting." I smiled at her. She was so selfless she was really a great friend. "You know he's looking for a bride. Maybe you could win his eye?" She says pulling me from my thoughts.

"Who's looking for a bride?"

"The King silly. He feels that it's time to find a bride since he can't seem to find his mate. His pack needs a Luna. You never know, you could catch his eye and have a little fun." She giggles and winks at me.

"You're crazy, not a chance is that happening. Come on, let's get these last few things on the mutts. We are about to leave." She rolls her eyes at me and helps me carry the 2 bags I had. We walk downstairs and meet everyone outside. Dad, Uncle Nikoli, Alan, Enzo, and Klaus standing around the mutts, making sure the bags were tied properly. We walked up over to them, Uncle Nikoli gave Micah a kiss on her head and a tight hug.

"We'll be back in a few days. Keep things in order for Alpha Andrew. Don't let Dimitri give you too much hell. If you need anything mind-link me or Rayne." 

"Okay, dad, don't worry too much. I'll handle it." She said giving him one last hug.

"Micah, you and Gamma Will are in charge. I have faith in you. Please link us the moment something isn't right."

"Yes Alpha." As he finished speaking with her I walked over and gave her a hug.

"Something crazy is going to happen there, I feel it. I hope you don't miss all the fun." I tell her.

"Well you link us if need be. Tell me all the details too about the hot men and such. Don't shoot down the idea with the King, you never know how it could go."

"With that I'm leaving. You're crazy, but I love you. See you in a few days." I pull away from her and follow the rest of the crew. We easily shift into our fur and before taking off, I give one last glance to Micah.

"Go, have fun! Love you!" She yells, as I said before, always so selfless.

We bolt off to the southwest keeping to the shared road as not to disturb other packs. We didn't want to cross territories where we had no permission too. The trip would be long, but it would be well needed. I had only just began letting my wolf out more and more over the last few weeks. A while back we had been in a fight and she needed some heavy duty healing. I haven't even spoken to Nola since it happened. She was still very quiet. I hoped this adventure would heal her and open her up more. After several hours on the road it was nearing late afternoon and father decided it was time to settle for a few hours. We made camp a little ways off the road.

"Get some food and sleep, we'll be back at it in a few hours." Dad said through the link.

"Are we staying in wolf form Alpha?" Alan asked.

"Yes, just in case something happens, I don't want anything creeping up on us." They all nodded. A couple of the guys slipped away to chase down some rabbits and other small creatures, but I decided to rest my eyes.

A little bit later I felt something nudging me and groaned when I felt someone coming through the link.

"Rayne, Rayne wake up." I heard through the link.

"Is it time already?" I asked the person, not caring who it was.

"Yes, we have to keep going. We still have several hours ahead of us my dear." At this point I recognized the person to be Uncle Nik. He nudged me with his nose once more and I turned over and made my way to my feet.
