Previously on 'Human Amongst Devils': With normal life returning back at school, Saiki 'hangs out' with the perverted trio and by hang he meant by intruding his personal space. The jealousy striken Motohama and Matsuda began telling Issei and Kusuo false rumors about them, this made the both of them irritated and Kusuo resorted to violence by slamming their bodies into the wall which knocked them out. As if on cue, Asia arrives along with another female student Aika Kiryuu who of course was more perverted than the two, teasing Asia and Issei that the two are lovers, which Issei quickly denies it. In the of course of this, Issei begans to behave differently as he holds his hand and tells both Asia and Kusuo that he was going to see Akeno to solve the issue and of course Kusuo took this as a cue to leave as well. Splitting ways later, Kusuo's powers activated out of nowhere which followed by a headache, he assumed this was because of one of the limiters were loose so he headed to the ORC building of course crossing paths with Issei along the way to fix the issue. Later after ensuring the limiters were fixed lightly another one of Kusuo's powers were activated again out of nowhere and gave him another headache. The best source to fix this was meditating, and as he was about to meditate, Akeno appears out of the showers and began to tease Kusuo several times and then she left telling him the venue of the next meeting will be at Issei's house. Hours later, they were at his house and discussing the contracts which later turned into the whole group looking at photos of Issei when he was a kid. One photo however catches Kiba's attention of a sword in the background and begins to behave strangely after that, even through the mission to eliminate the stray devil, after the mission was complete thanks to Kusuo's finishing blow, Rias slaps Kiba for his carelessness, then suddenly Kiba leaves the group. Kusuo also leaves later because he had someone following him all day and he decided to be alone so he could lure the stalker out which he successfully did and it was revealed to be Ophis, the Ouroboros dragons. Kusuo: Sorry to burst your bubble Ophis, but I already have a familiar
Suddenly out of nowhere, Ophis began embracing me in a hug, clinging to me tightly with no intention of letting go.
Ophis: I don't care if you already have a familiar, I want to be by your side and protect you.
Kusuo: Good grief You are not going to let go are you?
