The usual, writing tickets and getting verbally abused by animals, Diane got used to it even though it was only her second day on the force. On her break, she had written 45 tickets, out of laziness and tiredness.
"Maybe that stupid wolf was right, I'm just a hopeless girl with dreams..." She mumbled to herself about to fall asleep when a frantic pig shakes her car, causing Diane to wake up startled.
"HEY YOU, AREN'T YOU A COP?!" The pig screamed into Diane's ear, she looked at the pig almost annoyed at the question.
"Uh yeah-? what's the problem?" She asked dazed and her eyesight was blurry, it's like objects were moving in front of her when nothing was moving at all.
"THERE'S A GUY ROBBING MY SHOP!" The pig says still screaming, Diane's eyes widened and she instantly went into police mode and ran out of her car and ran after the thief.
"Stop in the name of the law!" Diane yells chasing after the thief, the thief turns around and continues running faster, but Diane is still on his trail, they arrived at city square, where her boss is there responding to the call about the robbery but the weasel just ran away, Diane was still after him.
"DIANE, WAIT FOR THE REAL COPS!" Bogo yelled, but Diane didn't look back and instead kept chasing the weasel, it didn't take long for Diane to catch him but it took a lot of effort. Especially since there were animals smaller than her and she tried not to squish them. The weasel kicks the plastic donut in front of Diane, who dodges it but then it's about to hit some other animals.
Diane picks up the donut in the nick of time and saves the animals from being crushed from underneath the donut, she gets an idea and runs with the donut when the weasel was just about to get away. She threw the donut at the weasel, making him trip and fall.
Diane ran over towards him and arrested him with handcuffs, pushing him back towards the police station, kicking in the door, happiness expressed all over her face.
"I CAUGHT THE WEASEL!" Diane yelled happily, but that happiness is short lived when she seen Bogo staring at her from his office door.
"DIANE, MY OFFICE NOW!" Bogo yelled, Diane's ears flopped as she slowly dragged herself to Bogo's office, when she caught there, Bogo slammed the door directing Diane to a seat in front of his desk.
"Leaving your post, endangering the public," Bogo reprimanded Diane anger expressed all over his face, Diane gulped her hands fidgeting as she looked Bogo in the eyes.
"But to be fair, you did stop the weasel from stealing twenty-one pounds of moldy onions." Bogo says sarcastically, Diane sighed and placed her paw on her nose where her piercing was, well it was above her nose and on her eyebrow.
"Sir, I know you're angry with me, but it had to be done! Who knew what the moldy onions were for!" Diane tried to reason with Bogo but he was having none of it. Just then however, the door opened to reveal an Otter.
"Please find my husband, his name is Emmitt Otterton and he's been missing for ten days, here's his picture." The otter says, handing the picture to Bogo, he sighs softly.
"Ma'am our detectives are very busy, we will find him we promise." Bogo kept giving empty promises to the woman, while Diane stood by watching her. She got up from her seat and faced the woman.
"I'll find him." Diane spoke boldly, Mrs.Otterton smiled and hugged Diane tightly, before breaking the hug to give her the picture of her husband; Emmitt Otterton.
"Thank you, here's his picture." She says, Diane nods and takes the picture, observing it for any clues.
"Would you mind stepping outside?" Bogo says, directing Mrs.Otterton outside, closing the door behind her before turning around glaring at Diane.
