Life isn't always like you want it to be. Sometimes you have to do a lot of changes or leave something you love....or..... someone.
-----------------------------------------------
It was the first day of school. I wasn't really excited about the school, but I have to say that I was a bit excited about everyone, that was in my class. My heart was bumping in my chest, because I was going to finally see my best friend after 2 years! That fucking quarantine ruined everything.
That day was sun shining a lot, so I had to cover up my eyes when I came to the classroom. The windows were fully open so the cold wind can come inside.
We had a new classroom. It was very small, but big enough for us to fit inside. The walls were painted yellowish but there was a hint of green in it. It was nothing special but I didn't mind as long as everyone won't be too close to me.
Some of my classmates left this school, so there were only 16 people. 'But there should be 17! Where is that bitch?!' ran through my thoughts. Of course I was talking about my best friend, Teresa. She didn't come here yet. But I just slipped that off my mind. She will come later, it's not a big deal.
When I went to my seat, there was my old classmate, but she was talking to someone new. I didn't know her and I've never seen her before.
We were young in that time so noone was wearing makeup. Except for her. She had long perfect eyeliner that I could only dreams of. She also had bright red lipstick with sparkles in it. Blond hair but dark at the roots. She wasn't really skinny, but that didn't matter 'cause she looked good anyway (of course the not skinny people are pretty too). She was a lot shorter than me but I am quite tall so almost everyone was shorter than me.
But she was sitting exactly where I wanted to sit. I didn't really have the mood to argue with anybody so I just sat in front of her. The teacher will put me somewhere else anyway.
The desks were old and rusty, but we were used to it by now. Our school didn't have much money, so we were helping and sending money so we can be more comfortable in the school. The chairs hurt a bit but like I said, everyone got used to it. We were going to this school long enough. Everyone except for her.
When i sat down they suddenly started speaking to me. They were laughing for some reason but I didn't know why. So I just started smiling. I was trying to be nice at least the first time we meet.
So my old classmate, Sarah spoke to me "Hannah! Good to see ya again! How you doing?" I turned around to face them and answered her question "I'm fine, thanks. Aaaand..... who's this?" I looked on the new person and tried to ask nicely.
"Oh yeah, sorry, this is Amanda" she said right before Amanda started shouting "Hi Hannah! Nice to meet you!" Okay, I know she doesn't mean to yell but still, can't she speak a bit more quiet? Is it really that hard?
"Yeah, nice to meet you too." I just spilled out and turned to face my desk again. I heard their conversation just a little bit, but because of Amanda's loud voice I heard a lot of things.
I discovered that she was going to this school for quite a long time. She failed a class so she's now in our one. Wow, great. Probably another idiot to deal with.
They started saying something about my outfit. I was wearing black pants with black shirt tangled into it. I really liked it. It was looking formal, but quite hot.
They were still talking about my outfit and suddenly started laughing. 'Is it really that bad?' I thought. 'Maybe it is because I'm in all black. Whatever.' I didn't pay much attention to it. Why would I? If they don't like it, they don't like it, so I just moved on.
