Chapter 5
It was a quiet ride. He didn't asked questions. Until we got in the city.
"Where do you live?" He asked as he tilted his head to look at me.
Binalingan ko siya nang tingin. He just stared at me for a while as he looked at the road and smiled.
"BGC." I simply said and looked outside the window.
"I'm glad I saw you." He said in a small voice. Even in a lower tone, his voice is still baritone. It sounds strong and bold. It's still deep even though he said it in a lowered tone.
"Really?" I asked and sigh.
"Yeah, because I already know where to pick you up." He said then chuckled.
"You're a funny man, Congressman." Ani kung umiling sa kanya.
"You're so formal, just call me by my name." He said and laughed.
"I respect people." I just said. "Just drop me at Avida."
"You lived in Avida?" He asked as he turned the wheels.
"Yes, congressman." I just simply said as I unfasten my seatbelt.
Binalingan ko siya nang tingin. Nakatingin lang siya sa sakin. Tinitingnan ang ginagawa ko.
"Thank you for the ride. Really appreciate it." I said at iniwan ang titig niya.
"You're welcome! And please! Stop calling me congressman or sir. It made me feel so old." Ani niya ng umiling-iling pa.
He doesn't like to be respected? Why? He's already 35.
"Yes you are. You're 35, sir." I truthfully said.
His mouth drops and shut his eyes and shakes his head. I bite my lips so I won't smile. I just sigh and rolled my eyes.
"Why, how old are you to call me sir? And besides, I don't look like I'm 35 years old." He explained more.
"I'm 22 years old." I just said and left his car.
I already said my goodbye and I already thanked me. So I was free to go. Beside, baka may nakitang media sa kanya at madamay pa ako. And I hate the media so much. It's better to be safe first.
I went inside of the building without looking back at his car. When I arrived at my condo I just put down my things on the table beside the door. Domeretso ako sa kwarto at agad naghubad ng damit. I could use a really nice bath from a very tiring day.
I don't know what I'm gonna do next actually. I know what course I'm taking next, I just don't know where. I don't have a plan yet.
Hindi na ako papasok sa bukas at aala na akong dapat pang basahin ngayon at pag aaralan. I'll be needed another books and materials for the course I'm taking. This was the second course I was planning to take before, and I guess I'm going to the second course. The plan turned upside down.
Architecture. I'm taking architecture classes. I just don't know which school I'm going to. I wanted to be at the best school so I can learn more. I'll just do some research and things I'll be needing for that course.
