Chapter Six

After drinks started flowing Kels and me were burning up the dance floor. We stood up on a platform behind our seats and started dancing when Like a Girl came on by Lizzo. We were moving our bodies to the rhythm of the song and singing the lyrics. We were so engrossed in our dancing that we didn't even realize that Jake and Zack had made their way into the VIP section.

"Damn baby! You look good up there!" We hear Zack yell up at a very drunk Kelsey.
She whips around and when her eyes settle on him her face breaks into the biggest smile. She jumps down toward him not even making sure he's ready to catch her but lucky for her he was ready for her and caught her with ease. I love seeing her happy and in love. My eyes land on Jake next.

"You having fun?" He ask with an amused smirk.

"The most fun" I say with a smile. It feels good to let go a bit. I continue to dance to the next song that comes on but I still feel Jakes eyes on me.

"You just going to stare at me all night or you going to get up here and dance?" I challenge him not at all expecting him to jump up on the platform with me. He can tell he caught me off guard and he is enjoying it.

"What? Didn't think I would get up here?"

"I just didn't think you knew how to dance" he laughed a deep genuine laugh which made me clinch my thighs together. I would kill just to hear that laugh again.

"Dancing is just like having sex right?"

I laugh at that. "How do you figure that?"

"I can show you better than I can tell you"

"Well then show me Mr. Hart" I caught myself off guard. Drunk Bri has a mind of her own. She is dangerous. He is my boss. What the hell am I doing? No better yet what is he doing? He's sober.

Before I can comprehend what's happening he turns me around and starts moving his body. I start moving mine to the song as well and soon we are in sync moving our bodies together. I roll my hips against his groin and he grabs my hips harder. His actions motivate me to continue. I turn around facing him and place my arms around his body and his leg goes between mine and we move in sync. He grips me and pulls me close to him still moving his hips.
"Where did you learn to move that that?" He ask huskily.

"Dancing is just like having sex right?" I ask throwing his words back at him.

"So you fuck like this?" His voice was even deeper this time.

"You will never know Mr. Hart. You're my boss remember? Us hooking up will never happen." I pull away and hop down from the platform before he can say anything back to me as the song ends.

Kelsey is giving me her signature look that say "y'all are going to hook up"

I flip her off and walk towards the bathroom. I can't get that dance out of my head. If he fucks like he dances then damn! I am missing out for sure but he is my boss and I don't won't to complicate things. I want a fresh start and some normalcy in my life.
