——-Very big time skip from last chapter, we are now into the second phase, aka cooking.

You don't really recall much from what happened the last little bit of the exam at the beginning, but who knew you'd be running and slapping a giant chunk of wood branch on top of a pigs head. Like who does that? Apparently gourmet hunters. You specialized in plants and poisons, so this wasn't really your thing.

You picked up the giant hog, holding it above your head. You carried it back and dropped it on the ground, before getting to work on it. You of course decided to remove the hair with a knife, and took the cleaning necessities. Afterwards, you rubbed the pig with some seasoning and spread butter all over the pig, before going to let it cook.

You looked around at your surroundings for the first time, and noticed the woman, Menchi, kept turning people down left and right. You decided to look at what everybody else was doing, and you realized it. 'Ah, they weren't seasoning it!' You thought , feeing a confidence boost in your work. You took the pig off before it could start to blacken and placed it on a giant plate. You decided to give the girl Menchi a break and you cubed one section of the pig, so Menchi could try it easily.

You brought the giant plate up to Menchi, who looked at the meat carefully. "Hm, it looks better than the others, but it's the taste that counts!" She hummed. You had test tasted it earlier, and you had been surprised it turnt out as good as it did for your first time with pork. She shoved the fork into her mouth, and her eyes widened, a smile appearing on her mouth. "Oh excellent! Execellent! Participant 391 passes!" She announced. A whole bunch of the crowd started booing, calling you names and cussing Menchi out.

"Oh for crying out loud, for men you sound like a whole bunch of wailing toddlers! It's simple, yeah she said cook it, but that's the bare minimum! Don't yell at her for mistakes you made, what you should of done is something pretty simple. SEASONING PEOPLE! Flavors, taste!" You yelled at the people, Menchi nodding occasionally in agreement. You thanked Menchi for your time and walked off, leaving your plate since she was pretty in love with it.

You walked over to Hisoka, who was sitting next to Gittaractur, who looked awfully sad.

You sat down next to Gittaractur, and looked at him. "What's the matter?" You asked him. "He doesn't understand what he did wrong, but he did hear your explanation~" Hisoka butted in. "Yes, how could I of failed something so regular and basic?" Gittaractur spoke up, sighing. You chuckled , making him look up at you. "Oh don't be silly. It's an easy mistake for learners, yes she didn't specify but nor does she have to. Don't put yourself down , as long as you don't make the same mistake twice, it's fine!" You smiled, placing a hand on his knee.

He nodded, smiling. "Thank you." He said softly. "That's what friends are for, right Hisoka?" You asked him, and he nodded.

"Now, let's go you guys!"

—————————TIME SKIP; Now into third phase, trick tower. Aka prisoners. Ok ok I don't recall exactly each detail so some has been changed to help plot

You all pulled out a number which assigned you to your room, where you and your partner were supposed to meet. You had the number four, so you made your way inside of the large air craft, which had numerous rooms. You opened the door with the key you were given, and noticed how nobody was in the suite with you. You shrugged, assuming your partner was still looking around.

Multiple people opened the room, but noticed last minute they were off. After about thirty minutes though, the door opened. You turned to the side, to see Gittaractur! "Ah, are you my partner?" You asked him. He shut the door and nodded. "Are you sure?" You asked him. He nodded, sitting on the edge of the bed near you.  Suddenly, a man with a similar mowhawk and large glasses walked in. "Ah, room four! " he exclaimed. "Get comfortable, you are each others partners as you both know. Anyways, in twenty four hours these doors will unlock and you will be guided to the destination. So be ready ! Also, you both will be hand cuffed together." He added, pulling out a pair of metal hand cuffs and attaching it to one of your wrists and one of his.

"Goodbye!" Before you could even blink he was gone. "Ah, this is lovely." Gittaractur hummed, looking at you. You nodded. "I don't plan on how this will be comfortable, but okay!" You hummed, getting up. He pulled himself up, looking at you confused. "I'm getting some water, we should probably put them somewhere near us in case we don't feel like getting up." You hummed. Gittaractur nodded, as you grabbed two water bottles from a mini freezer in the room.

——-short time skip

It was probably seven PM you were guessing, and you were watching the television, making a few comments or jokes with Gittaractur. "Now, this may scare you but I'm getting quite uncomfortable." He spoke, reaching his mechanical hand up to pluck the needles slowly out of his face. They were quite long, and it yucked  you out a bit. His face started morphing , and suddenly black hair sprouted out his head, covering his face. His body became similar to Hisoka, just less bulky. He used his free arm to flip his hair back, neatly falling in place.

You were amazed. He had large black eyes, a frail feminine but masculine face, long lashes, and strong features. "Ah, much better." He smiled. And his voice! "Oh, your quite handsome!" You smiled, complimenting him sincerely. He looked up at you, and tilted his head. "Oh? I am?" He asked. You nodded. You could feel your heart beat racing, he pulled off long hair so well it was almost painful for you to look at. "Like eye candy" you commented. He smiled at you.

After some time, and silence, Gittaractur spoke up. "My names Illumi Zoldyck...by the way. Gittaractur is a fake alias, but I trust you cannot speak of this to nobody besides Hisoka, correct?" He asked. You nodded. "Of course! It's none of my business if you want to hide your identity . " you smiled. "You aren't afraid?" He asked. You tilted your head. "No...why?" You asked him. "Because I'm a zoldyck." He added. You shook your head.

"Nope! Your still the quiet, heartbroken over cooking young man I recall, I knew you were dangerous but it doesn't phase me. I grew up around dangerous people, I guess I attract them." Smiling at him.he nodded.

"...you do know I'm not heartbroken right?" He asked. You chuckled"sure you are."  He shook his head. "No I'm not, assassins don't have time to be heart broken." He commented. "Oh lord here we go . Illumi are you sure?" You asked him. He nodded. "Of course." You shrugged. 'Okay then' you thought.

Going to bed is going to be quite interesting.
