Lindsey's POV:
"We're here girls" My mom said and we got out of the car "have a nice day at school girls" I hear mom say
"Lindsey!" I hear someone shout
Me and Sophia turn our heads and I saw a familiar ginger girl
"Hey Sam" Sophia waved as Sam came to us "Let's go?" I say and they both nod
We got inside the school and I saw Kendra by her locker "Hey" I said to her
"Hey" she said flatly "What's wrong?" I ask "Well Luke bought me the wrong face wash and it wasn't for sensitive skin" She started
"And after I used it, my skin was getting red and itchy so I had to get cream" She added
"Oh" I said
"Luke even laughed" She said "I'm going to kill after school" She added
I walked to my locker and got a few books I'll need for class "Here you go" Sophia gave me some fliers
"Cheer tryouts?" I read one of the fliers "yeah can you them out? I need really need replacements for a few cheerleaders" She said
"Ow" Phoebe said "What?" Sophia and I said at the same time
"I just broke a nail gahh it hurts" Phoebe said
"Well do you need nail glu-" I got cut off by a someone screaming "Kick out?!" Georgia screamed
"I'm kicked out the cheer team?! Why?!" Georgia screamed at Sophia
"Well your always late for practice, you bully the other girls, your form is horrible and you are the reason why Mckayla left the team" Sophia said
"You can't kick me out" Georgia said
"I'm the captain of the cheer team I can do that so get out of my face before I shove your head in a locker" Sophia said
"You'll regret this" Georgia walked away "no she won't" Kendra said
"Hey Lindsey you should try out" Sam said "I don't know should i?" I asked
"Totally!" Phoebe said
"Tryouts are held at the school gym after school" Sophia told me "Are you all part of the cheer team?" I asked them
"Well Phoebe used to be but she left because she's the school's representative for spelling bees and stuff" Kendra explained
After school
After my last period, I went to the school gym and there was a lot of girls that were also going to try out
After 45 minutes it was finally my turn
"Next please" I heard Kendra say
I went in front of the table
"So Lindsey what are your sets of skills?" Phoebe asked
"I used to do gymnastics, I can sing and I'm a black belt in karate" I answered "how long did you do gymnastics?" Kendra asked "I did gymnastics when I was 6 years old til I was 12 years old" I answered
"Jenna" Sophia called and I girl wearing a cheerleader uniform came
"Ok Lindsey and you try and copy Jenna" Sophia asked
"Sure" I answered
Jenna did a cartwheel and landed with a split and I copied her with ease
She did a back hand spring and I did one easily. She did a handstand with splits and span her legs around one at a time
And I did too
"Wow I'm impressed" Sophia said
"We would love you on the team" Phoebe said "We have practice on Mondays, Wednesdays, And Fridays" Kendra said
I was about to thank them but suddenly I felt something hit the back of my head
"Than- Ow!" I put a hand on the back of my head
"Boys! How many times do we have to tell you that we're having cheerleader tryouts today! You hit another girl with your stupid ball!" Kendra shouted
"Didn't we tell you that we're having basketball practice today" I heard a boy say
"Do you need an ice pack?" Phoebe asked "do you need water?" Sophia asked "I could use some water" I said
Sophia gave me a bottle of water and I drank some water which made me feel a little okay
"Jake! Luke! Your stupid team hit a girl again!" Kendra shouted
"Who got hit this time?" I heard Jake come
"Lindsey" Sophia answered "what?!" Jake said worried "Are you okay?" He ask
"You think I'm okay after getting by a ball?" I told him
"Who hit her?" Jake asked Kendra "Mark" Kendra answered "Hey Jones!" Jake called "What?" The boy who hit me answered
"Your out of team!" Jake said "Sorry man" Luke said and Mark scoffed
Luke's POV:
"Sorry Man" I told him and he scoffed "My brother has a huge crush on Lindsey and you just hit her so" I whispered
"So I get kicked out of a team for some stupid girl" Mark said
"Hey!" Jake said and grabbed Mark "Talk shit about her again and you'll never step foot in this school ever again" Jake threatened
