"Where are we going?" Jasmine asked, flustered from the past two minutes. Thank god that the cab driver had the barrier up or he would have witnessed the ambush of kisses I had poured onto Jasmine. We could have had sex in the back of this smelly cab if it hadn't been for me whispering, "later" to Jasmine without context. I could see that she was confused by the statement but kids would hopefully come later. Depending on her answer. I couldn't stop from wringing my hands at the thought. She has to say yes. I don't know how I would go on if she didn't. When we were broken up it felt like a piece of me was missing, only a little shimmer of hope kept me going. Those were dark times. I know that it isn't possible to replace Gracie but the flustered girl on my left was filling the gap that was brutally ripped from my heart after her death. If I lose Jasmine too, I would go on, But for what? She has to say yes. That last thought echoed in my head as I payed the cab and grabbed Jasmine's hand.

"I thought we were going to a restaurant." Jasmine questioned, curiously, "It's so hard to see in the dark where are we?" I just kissed her on the cheek and kept leading her through the trees.

"I love you Jasmine" I whispered into her ear as we stepped into the meadow. Even I had to admit it looked amazing. Jasmine sucked in a breath. The meadow was illuminated with a hundred flickering candles lighting up an adorably arranged picknick.

"Anthony you didn't have to do all this-" Jasmine began in shock. I smiled at her. She had no idea.

"I know but I wanted to" I whispered looking into her piercing eyes. She smiled up at me. Times square didn't shine brighter than that smile. I pulled her down onto the blanket nerves jumping out of my chest. As we began eating I thought over what to say to her. Nothing seemed right, words just didn't describe what I felt when I thought of Jasmine.

Jasmine's face was going a little pink from the last joke I had just said. When in doubt humor is always a good option. Brushing the chocolate from my hands I took a deep breath. It was time.

"Umm.. Jasmine" I began unsteadily causing her to look up from the strawberry she was eating, "There was something I wanted to ask you..." She looked at me expectantly. "Well I just wanted you to know... When I hold your hand it feels electric. I often wonder how someone's skin can be so soft..." What the hell are you doing? My subconscious yelled laughing in my face. "I wish this could be simpler..." I mutter to which Jasmine shook her head.

"It's just me Ant. Perfectly simple, what was it you wanted to ask me?"

"That's the problem though" I began picking up the past, "It's never simple when it comes to you. But in the best way. Your personality is so expansive I feel blessed to even know you and the fact that you even remotely like me takes my breath away. My love for you isn't simple at all. It just grows and grows. Even if I feel my heart could burst out of my chest it keeps going with every new quirk, every new place I find your ticklish, every time I wake up to the sunlight pouring across you face. It will never stop and I don't want it to stop." I was nearly out of breath. But not so much that I couldn't get on one knee. Jasmine gaped at me in shock.

JASMINE POV

I know that I should say something but the party that had erupted in my head was dizzying. This beautiful man was on his knee. For me! Finally! I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.

"Jasmine" Anthony said cutting through my thoughts, "I can't even begin to tell you how happy it would make me if you did the honour of-" He was taking to long. Hand me the ring already!

"Yes!" I breathed cutting him off and tackling my fiançe to the ground with kisses. The rush was incurable and I couldn't have waited another second.

"I didn't even get to ask you yet" Anthony said laughing into my ear.

"Oh I don't care! One hundred times yes! You can ask again later just kiss me now."
