I ran until the sun began to rise in the East. I stopped by a river, my earlier adrenaline finally wearing off.

I sat down on a rock and dropped my stuff. I drank water from the lake, as Poseidon walked up beside me.

He dipped his head into the water, drinking some, before leaving me to go and hunt again.

I began to sort out my things, when I heard a branch crack behind me. I spun around and Gendry was standing there, red faced and sweaty.

"You're pretty fast," he said. I didn't answer him, but I kept staring.

"Where's you're scary dog?" He asked. "He's a wolf," I answered. "Doesn't make him any less scary," Gendry said.

"What do you want?" I asked. "What do you-" he began but I cut him off. "Don't play stupid. why did you follow me out here? Why were you by my stuff earlier?"

"I... I... that wasn't intentional actually, to pass by your stuff. I didn't even notice it, but then this big do... wolf came out of no where and I panicked," he said.

I stared at him, waiting for him to continue. He sighed. "Look, a lot has happened these past few months, and now I have no where to go."

"I didn't plan on following you, but you seem to have a plan, and I want to help you," he said. I laughed. "Excuse me?"

He looked surprised and a bit upset at my reaction. "I'm supposed to trust you, a complete stranger, to help me? Who even says I've got something to do?"

"Well do you? I mean, I've got nothing. No family, no friends, no life," he said. "Have you weapons?" I asked.

He pulled a knife from his pocket. "Drop it," I said. "That's surely not all you've got." He pulled another knife out of his other pocket.

I kept staring at him again. He pulled another one out, that was strapped to his ankle. "So if I check you, there won't be any more?" I said.

He sighed, pulling another two from up his sleeves. He dropped them all on the ground in front of me.

"You say you want to help me?" I asked. "Yeah," he said. "Who's side are you?" I asked. "What?" He said.

"In the war," I explained. "Stark," he said, without hesitating. I smiled.

I turned back to sorting out my stuff. "So does that mean I can stay with you?" he asked. "Yeah," I answered. "Great!" he said.

"You hungry?" He asked. "Yeah, a bit," I answered. I heard him clack stones together. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Making a fire," he answered, not looking up. "You can't do that!" I exclaimed. "What if someone sees it and finds us?"

"We're not doing anything wrong. There's loads of people out here anyway, this could be anyone," he said.

I gulped, nervous incase the Lannisters won and Tywin had noticed the sword was missing. I turned back to my stuff, not wanting to let him know.

We did our business in silence. Poseidon came back later, with two rabbits in his mouth. He looked at Gendry suspiciously before settling down to eat.

Gendry cooked some chicken that he had managed to get before leaving and he shared it with me.

"What are you doing?" He asked as we ate. "What?" I asked. "What are you doing? Out here? All on your own?"

I thought for a second. I wasn't really sure what I was going to do. Give the sword to Robb Stark? Then what? Join his army?

"I'm not sure," I answered honestly. "Well, do you know where we are going?" He asked.

"Riverrun," I answered. "To Robb Stark?" "I guess," I replied. "Do you think Arya will be there?" He asked.

"I don't know," I answered. "Tywin said she was probably dead." "She's not," he said.

I looked up from my chicken surprised. How could he know? He was staring back at me, his blue eyes full of hope. It made me feel bad for him.

"Maybe she will be," I said, smiling. I don't know why, but I wanted him to be happy.

After I finished, I began to pack up my stuff. "What are you doing?" He asked. "Getting ready to go."

"Why? We didn't sleep!" He said. "It's the middle of the day," I said, pointing to the sun that was shining above us. "We can sleep when it's dark."

"Fine," he grumbled, picking himself up and throwing the few things he had into his bag.

I took extra care with the sword, wrapping it carefully to make sure it didn't get damaged.

I tied it around my waist. I slung my bow and arrows over my shoulder.

"Ready?" I called as I walked off. "Sure," I heard behind me.
