When Malachai turned into the new leader he was more self aware of what he felt and thought and he regretted being mean to princess who was his wife but princess was about to be sacrificed and he couldn't let that happen and yells out "Princess I love you I always have I'm sorry I didnt know how to show it but I realize now that I love you please forgive me!" He said tearing up princess looked at him and smiles and then runs to him and hugs him "I love you too mal" They kissed each other and smiles and they hug each other more and malachai places his chin on her head and smiling because he didnt have to lose her like he almost did
